My fever finally broke, and I’m managing to keep things under control somehow. The biggest issue right now is this cough and a throat so irritated that I can barely speak without feeling like I'm choking. 😵
Rest is key, yeah, I agree there. You can't speed up the process; all you can do is try not to make it much worse. It’s only day three for me, but I'm guessing it should wrap up by the end of the week. This is some nasty strain of the flu, and I've never dealt with anything quite like this before.

This might sound a bit stupid, but my dentist gave me a referral for a specialist. Where am I supposed to actually book an appointment? I called the main line and all they told me was "last one was 106," and now I'm calling that number but can't get anyone on the line. Has anyone gone to a dental specialist lately? How long did you end up waiting and where did you make the appointment? 🤦

Anyone have a clue why my PC suddenly won't boot? All I hear is the relay in the power supply clicking repeatedly, the fans spin up for a second, and then it just loops indefinitely.
I've tried unplugging everything one by one to troubleshoot. When I disconnect the CPU power cable, the clicking stops and the fans just run constantly.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? For context, the motherboard is a Dell Sabertooth Z97, the PSU is a Corsair CS750M, and I can't remember the exact CPU model off the top of my head.
It was probably triggered by that air quality from a few days ago, especially if you’ve never dealt with anything like this before. I highly doubt your Asthma would just decide to flare up out of nowhere like that.
I have a Dell Inspiron with 6GB of RAM. I want to upgrade to at least 8GB because it feels a bit sluggish lately. My question is: which one should I buy? One more thing about the battery. My battery died after just a year and I have no idea why. Maybe just bad luck, though the fan was always making some noise when I shut down the laptop... It depends on what you actually do with the laptop. Honestly, you won't notice much of a difference jumping from 6GB to 8GB. Your battery likely died because you keep it plugged into the charger constantly. As for the link, that battery looks fine. I recently ordered one for a nearly identical machine; it cost me about $23, so you can probably find one even cheaper.
Mind if I ask where you picked up that laptop? I’ve been noticing more and more retailers pushing those 5-year protection plans through various insurance companies lately...

Still, that tech is ancient by now, and even back then, it wasn't anything special. 🙂 I'm not picking up another one because I already have one, so that's off the table. Maybe I'll swap it out if I decide to put one of my lower-end power supplies in this build—I've got a few lying around—but since you left this one here, I might just hang onto it for later. 😁
