To movie is borderline moronic. Unknown 🤣. He essentially lives off her vitality 🙂 🤣. It is quite clear we are dealing with some seriously disturbed minds.
Since I am a genuine enthusiast of this game and have had such an excellent experience with it, I have decided—based on your comments—that I won't even bother watching the movie. I have no desire to let it ruin the franchise for me the same way that the Dylan Dog film did.
Just how many adaptations of this story are we supposed to sit through? It’s exhausting. David Suchet's Poirot is the gold standard, period. I have no intention of watching this.

These low-brow action comedies with an IQ of 70 are certainly not my cup of tea, and they typically result in me switching them off after about 20 minutes. Entertainment isn't solely about mindless distraction. 3/10
To my mind, true noir consists strictly of those black-and-white classics featuring detectives and murder, set against a backdrop of shadowed streets and scenes drenched in darkness, rain, or storms—complete with trench coats, fedoras, and revolvers. I cannot fathom how so many modern films lacking these fundamental characteristics have been rebranded as noir. Frankly, they fail to hold my interest. Neo-noir strikes me as little more than a passing trend; people simply inventing new styles to stay relevant.
Jaws is an absolute masterpiece, though the subsequent sequels clearly failed to capture that same level of brilliance. I have personally sat through it at least six or seven times.
It is a compelling subject matter for cinema, and I was actually on the verge of watching The Shallows recently.
Orca remains one of the most unsettling films from my childhood. Deep Blue Sea carries a similar level of intensity.

I have to disagree. There is an entire audience out there that can watch this movie as a standalone piece, following the narrative without being weighed down by the intricate details of the series that we, as longtime viewers, carry with us. They don't have that established connection to the characters, so they won't be sitting there making constant comparisons.
Watched it. I am disappointed on multiple levels. I honestly couldn't even make it to the end. It feels like some redundant drama centered around Dickie Moltisanti. That subplot involving the Black community and the riots was completely muddled and felt entirely unnecessary. While the characters are actually well-developed enough to resemble those from the series, there is absolutely no logical reason why every single one of them had to be crammed into this film. I particularly appreciated the portrayal of young Corad and Tony's mother, whereas the depiction of Tony's father was a total failure; that actor is incredibly irritating and forced—I can't recall a single decent performance from him. John Berntal...🙂 is a terrible character.
The characters are nothing but clichés... the whole Italian mafia trope... classic stuff... suits, greasy hair, slicked-back looks, gold jewelry... the relationships with women and mistresses... always hungry... undershirts. 🤦
I sit there watching, waiting for something to actually happen... and nothing. Absolutely nothing. I have stated this before, and I will repeat it: a sequel following Anthony Jr. and the rest of the crew who survived would have been a far superior concept.
I must, however, commend the casting of the boy playing young Tony. 👍
It started off strong, and I honestly thought I was in for a pleasant little flick to unwind with. But then, once we hit that final third, everything just went completely off the rails. I found myself sitting there thinking... damn it, I didn't understand a single thing... should I just run the ending one more time? I was genuinely losing my mind over it... until I saw here that I wasn't the only one feeling this way. 😁 It’s clear that some movies simply aren't designed for the general public. It seems obvious that the people behind this project weren't exactly motivated by making a profit. 🍿

Has anyone else sat through this piece of work? I am honestly struggling to find the right label or genre for it. I found myself completely transfixed by the screen for fifty minutes—it was almost hypnotic. I had no idea how short the runtime actually was, so seeing those end credits roll caught me completely off guard. You really ought to watch this, regardless of whether you consider yourself a fan of sci-fi or graphic novels. Personally, I was thoroughly impressed.
I believe there is also a three-episode series out there, or perhaps just a film that has been partitioned into three distinct parts.
I watched right up until that first shot was fired, when he took out everyone attempting to hijack the van. It happened just as he was checking on the wounded robber🤦. That moment alone was enough to make me look away and give my brain a much-needed breather.
As for Sly and Arni, they are genuinely talented actors. You can see that depth in some of their non-action roles as well. 🙏
