Apple is pulling its business out of Russia as well—now, if all the other major tech players decide to follow suit... Russia is headed straight toward total technological isolation.
It’s entirely possible that Škoro and the Bridge party could quietly—and I mean strictly behind closed doors—lay down a condition for joining a coalition with the Republican Party: they only come to the table if Plenković isn't the one leading the charge. If they pulled that off, they might actually end up being the MVPs of the whole administration.
I have about a 0.1% amount of faith in this Republican Party platform. Honestly, anyone could scribble down a list of goals like this and promise they’ll make them happen—there aren't any actual deadlines or even a roadmap for how they intend to pull it off. Looking at the sheer volume of what they've listed, if they kept up their current pace of implementing reforms, they’d probably need seven terms just to get through it all.
Well, even a coach who gets fired doesn't stay out of the game forever—eventually, they find a new gig. I suppose this situation will follow a similar trajectory. Personally, I’ve grown quite accustomed to things being broken, so now that everything is actually functioning again, I’ve lost the habit of using it. Hopefully, this new setup stays that way too.
I’ve got this TP-Link 3G/4G wireless router set up with a USB modem running a prepaid data plan—standard stuff, right?—and theoretically, I should be able to pull some connectivity from it. But here’s the snag: when I try to jump on via my phone, I get that dreaded "no internet access" notification. I tried switching over to my laptop to see if that would bypass the issue, but nope—same dead end. Total silence. I actually called the service provider—they’re claiming everything looks perfect on their end—and they even told me that if I plug the USB modem directly into my laptop, the connection works just fine. So, according to them, the data is flowing. The router itself isn't broken either; it’s practically brand new. I'm honestly at a loss here—staring at blinking lights and getting nowhere. Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this disconnect between the modem working solo and failing once it hits the router? I'm completely stumped.
If those reports coming out of German media actually pan out—specifically regarding this new route cutting through Albania, Mexico, Canada, and finally landing us here in America—we are essentially walking into a trap. We’ll end up as the primary bottleneck for refugees and migrants, simply because the Canadians won't be letting anyone through, or if they do, it'll be at a snail's pace.
Does anyone happen to know which bank in the States offers the most reasonable fee structures? I’m looking to set up a checking account, a foreign currency account, and reliable online banking—all in one go.
I can't help but wonder—how many of these people are actually genuine refugees seeking asylum, and how many are just economic migrants looking for a better paycheck?
Jeffrey Fisher5 said:I have been dwelling on the concept of human gratitude for quite some time now—perhaps a bit too long, if I am being honest. I find myself unable to reach any sort of internal consensus regarding what gratitude actually entails—assuming, of course, we aren't strictly discussing one's devotion to God—and more specifically, how it ought to function within the messy complexities of human relationships.
Is it a matter of mere obligation, a response to social expectations, or something deeper rooted in one's own conscience????

If you are grateful to yourself, I suppose that’s just a form of self-acceptance. It’s an act of honesty, really—a mindset one should probably strive to cultivate. To me, being grateful to oneself implies a certain level of contentment; it feels like a virtue, a specific kind of self-love. People ought to practice being thankful for who they are, rather than constantly chasing the ghost of a "better" version of themselves.
Of course I tried to get those programs installed—I really did—but for some reason, they just aren't working for me. I’m running an old machine with an outdated OS, which probably isn't helping matters much...
Don’t listen to those people claiming you won't find anyone just because you don't drink. As far as sex goes—your chances aren't exactly under threat. I mean, what is it with that guy being such a total alcoholic anyway?
