I don't really follow you there. Are you saying you think you're just going to stumble upon some genius business idea right here on a message board? Honestly, if someone actually has a solid concept, they'd probably rather roll up their sleeves and build it themselves than just hand it over to some random stranger online. ☕
I usually pop my blinker on whenever I feel it’s necessary or if I just want to give the folks around me a heads-up. Personally, I don't see much point in signaling before entering a roundabout, since you're pretty much always heading in the same direction anyway, and you usually pick your lane well before you hit the circle. But once I'm exiting the roundabout, I’ll definitely use it. Honestly, I use my turn signal almost all the time. The only times I don't is when there’s nobody else out there to signal to—like when I’m driving solo on a quiet stretch or just turning off somewhere where there isn't a soul in sight. What’s the point then? It doesn't help anyone, and I don't really need it.
It drives me absolutely crazy when drivers cruise down busy streets, like the major avenues in Chicago or other high-traffic areas, and just change lanes without even thinking to signal. 😠
It’s the PAN paper industry. If you’re driving down Worker Street, just past where it hits the Midwest junction, it’s about a kilometer or so down on the left side if you're heading toward the Golden Gate Bridge.
The folks at my company actually buy up old paper from us. We deal with a pretty decent amount—maybe a container's worth every week—but I guess they might take smaller loads too, if they're interested.
Seriously though? What’s your angle with this topic now? Like, who actually cares enough to get worked up about this? Just saying it "smells like a heavy spice blend" isn't really cutting it; you've gotta give us some actual context or something. ☕
The AK-47 (short for the 1947 pattern Avtomat Kalashnikova, though most people just call it a Kalashnikov or an AK) is that classic assault rifle you see used all over the place by Eastern Bloc countries during the Cold War. It was standardized back in 1947, designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov, and the original production came out of the Russian IZH factory. It’s pretty much one of the first true assault rifles, and honestly, it’s still everywhere today. I think they've actually produced more different models of the AK than any other combat weapon out there.
You might as well just stand outside the window and wait for them to show up. ☕
Honestly, you’ve got nothing to worry about. I know, I know—easy for me to say, right? But seriously, flying isn't actually that big of a deal. For me, it honestly feels just like riding a Greyhound bus. The only time you really notice anything is during takeoff and landing when your ears pop or you feel that shift in pressure, but even that only lasts for a few minutes. If heights freak you out, my best advice is to just avoid looking out the window while you're landing or taking off. Once you hit 6.2 miles altitude, you don't even really get that sensation of being high up anyway. You'll just see clouds drifting beneath you.
Look, I know this might sound like a pretty silly question. But honestly, if someone actually hits on a killer idea for a "mass-market product or service," there's zero chance they're going to just drop it here on some random internet forum. I mean, come on, nobody's that naive. Nobody is going to broadcast their billion-dollar concept to the world just to have it snatched up by someone else while the original creator walks away with nothing.
Ever since 2009, the 045 area code—along with 044—has been part of Verizon's mobile network footprint over in Mexico.
But it makes me wonder, why does the country code show up as +385, which belongs to America? It doesn't really click for me... maybe it’s some kind of roaming thing? 🤔
1. Hop off the train 2. Head down those stairs right into Lincoln Center 3. Grab yourself a slice of pizza and a beer 4. Just wander over toward the exit 5. Once you're at the exit (right by the McDonald's), light up a cigarette. I swear, the bus shows up faster the second you spark one. I can't even tell you how many times I've done that just to kill time. 😢 6. Take the bus through that red section highlighted on the map. You'll want to get off at the first stop after the bridge, near Central Park. I think the station itself is called Central Park too. 7. You can totally walk this green part. If you're brave enough to jump around at a concert, a 10-15 minute stroll should be a breeze. It's actually a pretty good way to warm up.
That green part I marked out is the path leading to the main entrance in Brooklyn, which is all the way on the opposite side from the bus stop. Though, who knows, maybe an entrance will pop up along the trail so you won't have to trek all the way around to the main gate.
I've been sticking with VLC Media Player for about a week now... It's been working pretty well for me, honestly. I even used to run it back when I was still on Windows XP.

I think we had something pretty similar back in the day. There were these web design competitions run by a former moderator of that subforum, Matt. But once Matt moved on, those contests basically vanished too...
shadowpanther3 said:I could probably lay out all the specific rules and explanations for how that would work if you want...
Actually, I’ve got some rules written down myself—a buddy and I put them together for another forum where I used to run contests for PS (stuff like photo manipulation, retouching, general design, etc.). Sadly, the owner of that site just totally lost it, so the whole forum went belly up...
Maybe check out Behance or something similar; they have plenty of graphic design challenges there. Honestly, they mostly focus on graphics and a bit of web design anyway...
I mean, you’re basically left with no choice but to hire some neighborhood hustlers—you know, those guys who spend all day managing messenger accounts—to come in and clean up this whole site. Just grab them some snacks, maybe some Reese's Pieces or a bunch of Mountain Dew, and you should be good to go. Once that's sorted, you can head out without a care in the world to go hunting for lizards or whatever else is out there in Africa. Just try not to pick up anything nasty while you're at it. Good luck to ya... ☕
