Hold on a second. You last slept together 11 days ago? And you're 10 days late? If you actually had sex then, you should have already had your period by now. There's basically zero chance of pregnancy there.

The only way this happens is if you guys were together 3 or 4 weeks ago. ☕

Man, I am such a mess. Started my period this morning and everything just decided to hit me at once.

But honestly, admit it, things feel way better now that it’s evening. That bloating is finally subsiding. Yesterday? I was a total wreck. Seriously, I looked three months pregnant—just completely swollen like a damn frog.

Ladies, look, it is what it is. Whatever happens, happens. It’s the 21st today, so I guess I’ve got maybe another 5 to 7 days before is gone and we can all finally dive back into life... then there's 🙂 and , and then we just sit around waiting for the next cycle to show up—hopefully with more positives than negatives, though let's be real, we'll probably deal with this again too.

Think about how many women out there just get pregnant without a second thought? Some have kids, some deal with miscarriages, some put them up for adoption. It happens constantly.
But then there’s us—and honestly, I really thought I was done being part of this group. Every single month, we're just sitting here waiting for those days to arrive. We find ourselves glued to the news during the FIFA World Cup, but instead of watching the game, we're gripped by this constant, gnawing fear. Will it happen? Won't it? Is it actually happening? We spend all our time listening to every little twitch or ache in our bodies, still nursing that tiny, desperate hope for a miracle...

And then, when it finally does happen? It’s brutal. For me, it’s absolutely brutal. And I know it’s the same for every other woman out there who wants this more than anything but just can't make it happen.

Just soak up your childhood while you can. You’re still young—seriously, you’ve got so much time ahead of you. There's plenty of room for everything else later... the sex, the romance, all that heavy worrying. It'll all be there when you get there. For now? Just breathe.
