How do I upload images and videos to the forum? in Forum Help! ·
^^Man, it works fine through Tinypic without any issues!! I didn't embed this specific one into an image just now, but honestly, it’s not that hard.

I think there are a few screenshots showing the actual process, let me dig them up:
-here's a post with a full breakdown

http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=1...3&postcount=71

So, basically, use Brows, find the image on your computer (that Tinypic thing is strictly for images sitting on your PC!!!!), click the picture, and it pops up in that little window. You absolutely have to resize it—you've gotta adjust the dimensions before you hit upload. You'll see that option on Defaul; the max is 640x480, which is the limit allowed here on the forum.

Once you've picked those settings, click "upload now." You'll have to wait until it shows up, and then you just grab the code. If you want the actual image, pick the first code; if you just want the link, go with the second one. Copy it, head over to your post, and paste.

Double-check how the image looks before you actually hit send. It really should be there.

Alright, give it a shot.

As for grabbing images off the internet, that's a completely different ballgame. I can explain that too if you need, but I'm only hanging around for the rest of the day. 😉

Kevin Evans2 said:Good afternoon to all the ladies, women, girls, and mothers out there...

I’ve been doing some reading lately and thought perhaps some of you might be able to offer me a bit of guidance. I have a few questions weighing on my mind.

I’ve been trying to conceive for about six months now—sorry, I should say it’s actually been longer than that—but so far, nothing. My period is consistently late, usually by anywhere from ten days to two full weeks. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on pregnancy tests, only to be met with a negative result every single time.

Right now, I am exactly two weeks late again. Honestly, I’m hesitant to even take a test because I’m so afraid of another disappointment. Usually, my breasts get incredibly tender right before my period arrives, but this time, I haven't felt that at all. A few days ago, I noticed a tiny bit of spotting—just a few drops of blood—and I thought, "Okay, here we go, my period is finally starting," but then nothing happened. Beyond that, I haven't noticed any other physical changes.

Last month, I went to see my OB-GYN, and she told me everything looks healthy. My Pap smear results were perfect, too. The only thing noted was a small, clear cyst on my right ovary that sits just outside the ovary itself. She said it doesn't require surgery and that I shouldn't worry about it one bit.

On another note, I experience vaginal discharge pretty much constantly. Is that something pregnant women deal with as well?
Also, does the volume of semen play a role in conception? My husband produces very little; especially during my ovulation window when we are trying every day, there is hardly anything left—maybe just a tiny teaspoon's worth.

If anyone has any advice or insight, please let me know!

Thank you so much, and best wishes to you all.🙂

Look, when it comes to cysts, I’m basically an expert. Sort of. Your period might be late because of it. It can mess with pregnancy, too, even if doctors claim it won't. Personally? I used to deal with constant cysts, some as big as 7x8 cm, sometimes three at once. I lost three babies because of it—the last one was just last year. I actually had to stay on bed rest specifically because of a cyst, just to make sure it didn't rupture. It didn't burst during my D&C, but then there's the whole surgery issue.

After the D&C, I went in for a laparoscopy under general anesthesia. I made it very clear that I wasn't letting them take my ovary. The doctor wanted to, though. He actually tried to tell me I was "old enough" already 😲—can you believe that?—but I stood my ground. I told him, "Fine, scrape whatever you need to scrape, but you aren't touching my ovary."

We barely reached an agreement. But then, as they were prepping me for the procedure, the doctor just backed out. Said he didn't have enough time for me. I haven't gone back to get the cyst checked since then.

I heard later on that they can grow back, so I'm just leaving it alone for now. As long as I'm resting, I don't touch it.

So, my advice? If you're pregnant, please, take it easy. Rest. No baths, no heavy lifting, no straining or anything strenuous.

And if you aren't pregnant but you're considering surgery, think long and hard. Get second, third, fourth opinions so they don't screw you over and take your ovary. A cyst can easily grab onto the ovary and pull it along.

Good luck. 😉
Sandra Wilson5 said:I’ll just drop my question here instead of cluttering up the forum with another new thread... maybe someone can actually help me out...

My last period started on May 30th, and I'm pretty sure I felt ovulation happen around June 11th, even though all those online charts claim it should've been the 13th—but honestly, I trust my gut on the 11th. My cycle is usually a very predictable 27 to 28 days, and I'm not on any birth control.

So, based on that, when would my next period actually be due? And more importantly, when is the best time to finally take a test? What do you guys suggest??

I'm with her. Don't bother testing before June 28th. It's a waste of money. Just five more days to wait. 😁

It doesn't really matter, though; we’ll just have to be even more relentless next month. 😉
Huge thanks to all the ladies here for the light and the encouragement!! 🙂

Ah, so she really did nail it. At least you saw her coming, right?😁 She caught you off guard.

Things will look up next month.

rustypuma6 said:It’s supposed to arrive on the 24th—though, if I’m being honest, I have this nagging sensation it’s already here—and my back is absolutely killing me. It’s been like this for the last few days... just a constant, dull ache. Everything feels a bit off, a little surreal, I suppose. I really wish I could just stop overthinking it all and move on, but it’s hard when you can't quite shake that unsettled feeling. 😢

Let me offer some comfort (or maybe just more disappointment), but mine was three days late this month. My back was aching, my chest was incredibly sore—like, crazy swollen—plus the dizziness and the jitters. I actually went out and bought a test just so I could take it in the morning (I mean, I'm not even trying to get pregnant, but if luck strikes... who knows?), only to end up getting my period that very evening instead.

I've got extra tests left over 🤣...
Thomas Palmer7 said:thanks so much 🙂
can you just let me know what the test is called
thinking about picking it up tomorrow so I can take it on Wednesday... since my period is finally wrapping up

Google mini is the name of that cheaper one—it works fine. Just make sure to use the first thing you do in the morning.

It’ll run you about $11.
Thomas Palmer7 said:So, I wanted to pick your brains on something
Lately, I’ve just been feeling totally off... super dizzy, constantly exhausted, no appetite, just blah...
A close friend actually asked if I might be pregnant
The thing is, my period has been totally regular, though I know plenty of women who had regular cycles until their fourth month before finding out they were expecting
How common is that, really?
Should I go grab a test just to be sure, or am I just overthinking things and panicking for nothing
And yeah, if I am, I’d be about two months along
Thanks guys

It’s possible. There are definitely women who still get their periods up through the fourth month of pregnancy. Just go pick up a test—you can find a cheap one at CVS for like ten bucks, and they work fine. Use your first urine in the morning and you'll have your answer.
Get a test tomorrow and stop guessing. If it’s not that, you probably just caught some bug; look at how nasty the weather has been lately. 😁

🙂 I’m right there with you—though, honestly, I’m not ready to bank on it just yet. Not until we see some actual, tangible results land on the table...😵

Just try to breathe. Things happen when they're meant to happen. You really need to just relax. Don't make it this big, scheduled mission where you're constantly "trying" to conceive; just let go and enjoy life, and it'll happen. You have to accept whatever comes your way. It’s much easier to conceive when you aren't living under constant stress.

Wishing you guys luck and hoping you get that little one soon.
^I honestly think you might be losing it... 🙂.

gentletiger20 said:Honestly, I don't think I could ever go for it... I mean, why would anyone trade being whole for some kind of half-baked, broken version of existence?

There isn't even much to debate here, right? Accept it or not, if someone spent their life doing terrible things, why would they expect to just waltz away from all that wreckage now? You can fight it all you want, but God is going to bring you right back around to fix it—to make sure you actually learn that's not how you live.

If you aren't looking for an out, then just don't go around causing chaos in the first place. Then you won't have anything to fear.😁
If you could come back to life, would you? in Spirituality ·
Here’s my take on it. When I finally kick the bucket, I have this nagging feeling—this gut instinct—that I’m going to be thrown right back into the cycle, forced to be reborn and start all over again, just like so many times before.
When I’m crawling through that final tunnel and approaching those Divine gates, they’re going to play my whole life back to me like some high-def movie. Every good deed, every mistake, every word spoken, even the fleeting thoughts I thought nobody noticed...

It’ll be a total reckoning. A full accounting of what I actually achieved versus where I blew it. And honestly? I don't think we get much say in whether we want to come back or stay gone.

Maybe there’s a tiny bit of choice involved, but ultimately, whether we return or not? That’s up to God. He created us; we’re His children, part of His army.

Life is a gift from God, GIFT, and we really ought to be GRATEFUL for it. Even here on Earth, there are places that feel like PARADISE 1, PARADISE 2, PARADISE 3 and so on.

But then there’s hell. And let’s be real, we build that ourselves through our actions and the way we choose to live... (I won't post any pictures of that, wouldn't want to ruin the vibe of those higher 😁).

When death comes, we pass through that famous TUNNEL.

Everything depends on how we played our hand in this life... it dictates what comes next.
Just the next chapter in the long journey of the soul...

Now, this part actually cracks me up. It’s like when you log on and it’s just a little "knock-knock"—like, hey, where have you been hiding? Or more like, "knock-knock, you've been staring at this screen way too long."

When I first heard that sound, I swear I jumped out of my skin. I was genuinely spooked, wondering what on earth was going on. For a couple of days, I was actually hesitant to even log in here because of it. I went hunting around the house trying to find the source of the noise, and wouldn't you know it? Just some kid playing around, knocking on things... damn kid. 🙂🙂

-I’m rewriting this because my router was acting up. Either the connection is dead or the forum is just glitching out 😠.

I’m not from NYC, but let me tell you about the dark side of tips.
I had a job recently selling ice cream—pretty chill gig, right? Since I’m an outgoing, upbeat person, the customers loved me and tipped often. We're talking anything from a couple of bucks to twenty dollars.

I mentioned to my boss that I’d collected some small change, and he was just like, "Fine, put it in the drawer." Not the register, mind you, just a drawer.
It went on like that day after day, until one morning I finally asked, "Hey, what happened to my money?" And he snaps at me, saying it belongs to him and I shouldn't even dream of touching it!!!

Look, I’m not the type of person who would steal a single cent from anyone, so I didn't touch it, but the sheer injustice of it all just depressed me. I earned that money, not him.
The guy once bought me a Coke—which I rang up properly and showed the receipt to the boss—and the boss said, "Sure, go ahead and drink it." If he’d come back a few days later and claimed I drank it just to spite him or that I stole it from him... god, can you imagine?

And since things started heading south, after 23 days, he actually expected me to pull 16-hour shifts for free as overtime. That was the end of our little "relationship."

Of course, since I never saw a dime of my tips (he kept making excuses like he'd buy me something later), he starts crying about how broke I am and then fires me. (Yeah, I even took a hit from him because I had the nerve to ask about the rest of my paycheck, which was a total fantasy)

The police were involved, and I reported it to the Department of Labor, where a woman told me I have a legal right to my own tips.
Sure, you have the right on paper, but in America, there's a massive gap between what you're legally entitled to and what you actually get to keep.

Anyway, I still leave a little extra sometimes, depending on how nice the server is.

Maybe more like a light blue, or maybe a gold... something else entirely?

The only option you've got is gray. Honestly, it’s practically free at this point. You might even be able to snag it for good if you play your cards right.

It’s just an ad. There's this kid in the top right corner who taps on the screen twice. The ad itself is blue... honestly, I don't know if it's some UNICEF thing or a medical company or whatever, I stopped paying attention to it ages ago. My speakers are muted anyway, so I only catch it through my headphones, and even then, it's barely audible.😁

I think I saw someone ask this before. The answer was basically a hard no. They aren't planning on changing anything or adding new icons, so we're stuck hunting them down ourselves and manually pasting them into our posts. Life's good, isn't it? 😉
I saw some stuff like that over at Home Depot—you know, the automotive tools and everything—but I couldn't tell if they were actually Teflon coated 🤷, or just basic, run-of-the-mill junk. Honestly, I wasn't really looking that closely.
I can see everything that was entered during sign-up—like the email address—and whatever else is tucked away in the profile settings, provided there isn't a privacy block on the email.

There’s really no danger there.

As for anything else? I wouldn't know. All I can see is the email, assuming it hasn't been hidden. 😉

I can read fine, I just don't speak English. I unchecked it, but I still don't get what comes next.

Thanks.
