To all you people acting all high and mighty about piracy, what are you actually paying full price for when it comes to original software? 😕
Best movies of 2003? in Movies ·
Since most of these flicks you guys are throwing around aren't even from 2003, I'm gonna take a little liberty and throw in something slightly older from 2001: Musa, directed by Kim Sung-su
Everything else has basically already been covered.
Any animated movie recommendations? in Movies ·
Fritz the Cat.

He’s not exactly an adventure flick, but I’d still say he's worth a watch. 👍
Star Wars vs. Star Trek in Movies ·
The real question is how on earth Star Wars fans would even try to defend against stuff like teleportation
(I mean, they don't exactly have properly modulated shields to work with)
(and let's be honest, they don't have nearly enough "gods" on their side)😉
What are some movies you absolutely loved? in Movies ·
Musa, some Korean stuff, probably worth checking out on VideoTech
and obviously, if you haven't seen krug yet,
my list also includes Equilibrium (though honestly, it can't touch those first two)
Zombie Apocalypse!!! in Movies ·
Besides Resident Evil (which isn't exactly great)😎
Bare Bullets in Movies ·
Forbidden Planet 👍 👍
Charles Bronson - he's still got it! in Movies ·
Man, I had no clue he passed away. He was truly one of a kind, the sort of legend you just don't see twice in this life 😢
How do you even manage to type with nails that trashed?

It takes years of practice to pull that off, honestly; most people couldn't handle it, but he's one of those rare ones who actually can.😉

Got a quick question for the guy who put this poll together—why isn't Dolph Lundgren on here? I mean, he’s basically on par with Rocky Balboa, not to mention he was the one and only He-Man, the true Master of the Universe.

The guy already explained he didn't have enough room to fit both Lundgren and Jeff Dacascos in there (check the post at the top). Besides, you're totally forgetting that Lundgren played the one and only The Punisher once upon a time.

Big thanks to the mod for being cool about this 🙏

those last two don't belong here at all, and honestly, it's pretty disrespectful to the legends listed above them.

Thank God there's actually someone else left who gets what's going on here. 🙂

Bruce Lee is a total legend

Yeah, and honestly, he doesn't even belong in that group we just talked about, so you could probably toss him into a different category entirely where you'd measure him against guys like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Sonny Chib, Sammo Hung, Busta Rhymes (yeah, he fits there too), or even Chuck Norris, and he definitely isn't part of that specific lineup mentioned above. 🙂

How can you even call a legend like Lorenzo a total flop?
Just kill yourself already. 🙂
And for the rest of you, try to grasp the fact that Lianjie isn't even in the same league as icons like Bruce or Jackie; we could probably start an entire separate thread just for them.
Seriously, how did you all manage to overlook the legendary Bruce Lee !?!?!?!?
If you haven't sat through "Finishing Blow," "Poison Hand," or "Night of Great Showdown," then you don't get a seat at the table when talking about martial arts!
Who's the GOAT? in Movies ·
Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan just don't belong in that category, period. So look, Moderator, if you aren't actually steeped in this specific subgenre, maybe don't weigh in. (No offense intended, but if you aren't part of that inner circle, you really don't get what I'm talking about here.)
And honestly, just because all these amateurs keep bringing up Bruce and Jackie and trying to lump them in with the rest of this genre doesn't mean anyone should actually take them seriously.
You're better off mentioning guys like Frank Zagharino, Paul, or Dudikoff instead.
Even Jet Li isn't part of this particular group.
I almost forgot about "Rowdy" Roddy Piper too! 🙂
Who's the GOAT? in Movies ·
Jackie doesn't even touch that "league" up there (and neither does Bruce). Are people blind? I’m seeing some folks here who clearly have zero clue what actually makes a solid B-movie actor.
You totally missed Adrian Paul, too.
We should probably just open the whole damn pool to include fighting legends while we're at it.

So what’s the deal with George Pendovski, Billy Drago, Mr. T, and Frank Zagharino?
If I have to pick from that bunch, I’m riding with Bolo Yeung—the man’s an absolute icon. (He went toe-to-toe with Bruce Lee, if I recall correctly, though his name is actually Yeung Tzse)
You totally overlooked the Tae Bo master himself, Billy Blanks.
Though, if we're talking true legends, I've always had respect for Sonny Chiba.

I still remember watching this one movie when I was just a kid—something like Lone Wolf or whatever—where they beat this guy up, shove him into a trunk, roll him into a hole, and bury the whole thing under sand. Then after Chuck knocks back a beer (man, he had a fridge right in his cassette player drawer), he somehow digs him out and just lays everyone else out. That's real cool.

And you've got Chakotay from Voyager (Beltran) playing a major supporting role here.😎
Look, I didn't say you shouldn't skate, I just said wear the damn pads, no matter how ridiculous it feels. And all that talk about impact is based on actual physics, not just some random bullshit I'm making up. When you're riding a motorcycle, sure, you can wipe out, there's always a chance, but when you're skating, you *will* wipe out—I know you've eaten pavement more than once. Every time you try to nail one of those tricks (don't even ask me what they're called, I haven't bothered learning the names), you're gonna slam hard a dozen times before it sticks. Even without gear, you can end up with permanent damage because let's face it, you're falling every single day. Just ask Spinn how many times he's wiped out, then compare that to how often you fall, or even how often a pro skater hits the ground. Honestly, I'd bet my life that Spimm wears every piece of protective gear known to man. (not that it matters 😉 )
I’ve never really been out there myself, but I know most skaters end up hanging it up pretty early on—kind of like what you were saying earlier—mostly because they’ve absolutely trashed their legs and blown out their knees, and let me tell you, those injuries don't just disappear when you grow up.
So, as much as it might feel like a total poser move, just wear the damn pads and gear, unless you’re actually planning on quitting in like two years because your body finally gives out on you.

I’d love to catch some Superman, but I honestly have no clue where to find it.
