I’d cast my vote for alien, but if we're talking about his absolute peak performance to date, I’ve gotta go with Se7en... it's wolves versus sheep, and the wolves are winning by a landslide. 😁
To me, the movie just doesn't land one way or the other; it’s totally middle-of-the-road. Personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for revenge flicks, so I went into this with high hopes. But my expectations were all over the place—I was picturing a slow-burn, moody masterpiece reminiscent of those gritty 70s classics, yet what I actually got was something more akin to a James Bond action romp. It was all frantic cuts, a sugary aesthetic, and an ending that felt rushed and half-baked. Honestly, it could have been so much better.

I was flipping through some German channel the other day... honestly, I can barely make out a word of that language! But man, that movie was absolute garbage, even by Tromin standards! 👎
Personally, I found the movie to be quite poor... and don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm some die-hard Kubrick devotee! Aside from Full Metal Jacket, I find his obsession with visual perfection just incredibly tedious to sit through... I actually much preferred the more recent Lyne version starring Irons!😉
Yap... I honestly think I might sit down and watch this movie just to see if Paris Hilton ends up getting her foot stomped or whatever twisted thing they have planned for her! 😉 She really needs the reality check—she’s out there looking like a total crack addict! 🙂

Absolutely terrible movie! I honestly have no clue what Morgan Freeman was thinking with this one! The atmosphere actually worked pretty well right up until the moment those aliens showed up. At that point, I just completely lost it—I couldn't stop laughing at those ridiculous CGI creatures. That sense of pure silliness stuck with me all the way through to that exhausting finale! 😂

What an absolute masterpiece! 😉 It’s got that distinct, sophisticated flair you just don't see much of anymore... Honestly, this director managed to squeeze every ounce of brilliance out of that mediocre last Alien installment! 😉 Every single person in the cast was spot on... With a creative mind and vision like his, I truly believe surreal, twisted cinema has a massive future ahead, even if he decides to film everything in Hollywood! 😉
