I am living the absolute lowest-quality life imaginable (and I'm being dead serious)

Nicole Allen10 said:When the thyroid slows down, you gain weight. Wow, what a medical genius we have here!
Nicole Allen10 said:I’m telling you, it’s definitely a thyroid issue, but hey, feel free to keep playing pretend if you want to stay in your little bubble.
Thomas Howard93 said:Sure, I’ll admit it—I’m definitely a bit on the heavier side at heart. ☕

That’s just not who I am, and I don't know how to function in an environment like that. Even when I’m surrounded by people who seem well-meaning on the surface—even though we all know deep down they’re total snakes—I still give them the benefit of the doubt until they eventually stab me in the back. When they do, I just end up feeling disappointed, angry, and heartbroken, wondering how this keeps happening to me. I truly love genuine, good people, but they tend to live in their own little bubbles. Nowadays, if you actually want to build a meaningful life and surround yourself with decent human beings, it feels like you have to fight through a gauntlet of chaos just to establish a sense of security and independence.
I’m curious to hear from you guys: how have you structured your lives to find peace? More importantly, how do you navigate around the materialists, the egoists, and those selfish power-trippers with warped values who seem to hold all the cards?

I could use some advice here.
So, I’m training for boxing and I’m looking into supplements...
Are we talking carbohydrates? From what I understand, I need something to burn through while I'm working during training... is that carbs or something else entirely?
I’m not really looking to bulk up or build massive muscle since I don't hit the weight room (and honestly, I don't want to—it just makes me feel sluggish/stiff)—I just want something to help maintain my weight and maybe give me a little extra strength.
Sorry if that was a bit vague, and thanks in advance for the help!👍
Patrick Sullivan3 said:I’d wait for my little one after school and explain that if they ever laid a finger on another kid, they’d be praying they were never even born... I’d say it with the gentlest smile, though with a total psycho edge behind it 👍
William Turner90 said:But does it hurt you when your child is judged by others? At the end of the day, the focus is on the kid, not the parents. Of course you'd do anything for your child—that's just instinct—but I don't see violence being the answer here.
Casey Palmer5 said:It’s just too much. As if having these kids stuck in a hospital, ripped away from their homes, wasn't stressful enough—now they’re pulling this crap on top of it. Unbelievable.

Forgive me, Lord, because I know I was asking these exact same stupid questions when I first joined, only to get told to "go read the FAQ" instead. And hey, nice one—you could probably put that padlock emoji right in your signature. 😁
