Jeans recommendations? in Fashion ·
Dammit, I am officially lost...😕
SO, how are perfect jeans even supposed to fit?
Ugh, just think about the absolute chaos waiting for me when I head out on this denim safari...🙄 😉

You nailed it... you’ve always gotta assume most pants—especially jeans—are just gonna stretch out eventually.
That’s mostly an issue with Levi's, unless they finally started mixing 2% Lycra into everything.
Because of that whole stretching thing, I basically only wear one pair of jeans (GAS) since they barely budge.
With pretty much any other brand, I’m constantly washing them just to get them back to how they looked in the fitting room.
Look, I love denim, but until I go broke buying a new fleet of cars, my motto stays the same: better to have one killer pair than a bunch of junk!👍

Saw this German woman the other day—wearing those tight pants that sit way below the bust line...😁
If you're gonna dress like that, why even bother being shy!?😉

Ran into my nephew at the grocery store the other day... we actually managed to trade some decent compliments for once. Real wholesome stuff...🙂
It’s honestly pretty sweet... and doesn't cost me a dime.
I think you guys were talking about him in a pretty positive light before...
Brittle, peeling nails: any tips? in Health ·
When nails look like that, it's usually just keratin dehydration from all those aggressive treatments you've been putting them through lately.
I mean, I have zero clue what kind of madness you've been doing to them, but honestly, even if you aren't doing anything crazy, they'll eventually bounce back on their own after a bit...
It wouldn't hurt to keep a decent clear strengthener on hand. These days, almost everything is packed with proteins and all the good stuff needed for nail care anyway.
This happens to me too, pretty regularly. There are just certain times of year where everything feels a bit depleted, stress levels are up, and you shouldn't freak out just because your hair, skin, or nails start acting up in response.
If this keeps happening though, maybe start a vitamin regimen or just go nuts spending money on fancy creams, Nail Essence, Essie collections, and whatever else...
🙂

Seriously, stop banging your head against the wall every time I tell you we aren't talking about THAT kind of dehydration...

Anyway, thanks for the tip on Estée Lauder!

I knew that brand was following me through life. 😉

Honestly, you'll probably break a nail just digging in the garden before you even get to the peeling part...
Seriously though, wear some gloves, unless you want to end up looking like a farmhand by next week.😉
As for the peeling, they look super dehydrated to me, so maybe try Essie (you can grab it at Walgreens).
I haven't personally tried it, but give it a shot—and from now on, gloves and clear protective polish are ALWAYS a must.
You also need to use those three-way files every once in a while to buff them out.
Step 1, step 2, step 3... let's go!!!🎉

Look, I still say go for it in larger amounts—it's what I do myself—but maybe read a little closer next time... you'll see exactly what ELSE you need to drink alongside it if you actually want to keep your minerals and blood sugar levels from totally tanking.

Just gonna jump in on that Gatorade tangent real quick; my crew and I basically live off Vindija's Gatorade (we’ve nicknamed him Mr. Gatorade 🙂 ) and honestly? Best drink out there, hands down.

It’s isotonic, which is just a fancy way of saying the mineral and sugar mix is super close to what's actually in your blood. That means it hits your system faster than anything else, recharging your energy levels way more efficiently.

Compare that to just chugging plain old water... if you overdo it, you end up feeling totally wiped out, like your blood pressure is tanking and you're just weak. It's because you're peeing everything out and flushing your electrolytes, and plain water just doesn't replace them properly.

Look, I'm not trying to be a walking billboard for Vindija, but since we're all talking about dieting here, this stuff fits perfectly into different meal plans.
Their management is way too cheap to actually pay for commercials to tell you that—they aren't really big on that "the product speaks for itself" vibe either.
They have tons of amazing, tasty little things that are super low calorie.
Go find 'em!

🙂

I'm siding with everyone trashing this movie.
Unbelievable, sugary, fake, overproduced, and just way too pretentious.
The only thing worth remembering is Brad Pitt's ass, while the actual "film" (plus those insanely salty popcorn🙂 ) was a total disaster!

Man, when I compare this battle to the ones in Lord of the Rings, it's just pathetic...🙄

Kenneth Hernandez67, I started getting super intense about my body back when I was 16. I wasn't exactly overweight, but I definitely wasn't that "perfect" shape I had in my head.
I honestly haven't touched a diet that strict since—not even the healthy kind—I just didn't have the energy for it anymore...
But, I did stick with eating healthy for good, and honestly, it’s just how I live my life now.
The annoying part was having those years where my hormones were totally acting up, probably because of all that crazy weight loss I did earlier... so even while eating right, I couldn't seem to stay in shape.
It sucked so much and I obsessed over it, especially since I've never been one of those people who lives to eat.

But, thank God, for the last 6 years or so, I haven't had any issues with, you know, my weight. Actually, lately, I feel more confident than ever indulging in "guilty pleasures," as long as I balance them out with my regular healthy routine.

I guess some big life changes helped, though I'm not really sure what they were...🙂
I've changed so much, especially after having kids, that I could walk past someone I know and they wouldn't even recognize me.

And yeah, obviously I'm proud of it. I'm not exactly tall enough to be a model, and this look? It wasn't just handed to me by God.

I think that's why I've always talked like this on the forum, instead of just bragging about things I don't actually have.

I've got plenty of real-world experience and I'd love to help these girls out, because I KNOW these aren't just some "fashion trends" or trivial issues... They're real. Believe me... You only get it if you've been there.

Look, tap water here is super heavy on the stomach and leaves you feeling bloated as hell, so if it's not breaking the bank, just buy bottled stuff.
You could take that lake water you drink😁 and mix it with some boiled water—like a light tea—just so you don't end up looking like a bloated frog.🙂

There are those "fitness" teas out there too, but I’ve never touched them, so who knows if they actually do anything.

When you inevitably mess up with some chips (let's be real, no diet is perfect without a few sins)—just pick up the pace the next day. Or eat some grapefruit if that fits into your meal plan, since it's great for flushing out any extra fluid you might be holding onto. I mean, you already know the drill...😉
One day you’re gonna look back on these days with so much nostalgia... and honestly? You'll probably wish you could do it all over again...🙂 😉
Because let's be real—there is no chaos quite like this post-baby whirlwind we've all been through.
Life just has this way of pulling the rug out from under everything you thought you knew about yourself... shaking your entire mental foundation... but I guess it only happens so you can come out the other side even stronger.
It doesn't mean your old foundations were shaky or that you were faking it before... you weren't. It's just a blessing you have to lean into... just another step up the ladder... if you know what I mean...

Good luck!🙂 Give the boss a kiss for me!🙂
My mom used to go totally overboard at night, chugging milk and yogurt just because she thought it’d make my supply "stronger." She ended up packing on the pounds... and I think they told her to stay on bed rest so she wouldn't lose any milk too.🙄
Sadly, even with her whole "farm-to-table" obsession, my supply was still pretty pathetic.

I couldn't exactly afford to just sit around resting and following all those breastfeeding "wellness" tips, plus I wasn't exactly binge-eating either... but somehow, I still managed to nurse a really healthy, well-developed baby.

placidjackal97, you've gotta just live life normally. You need a sense of balance with everything. There aren't really things you *have* to give up—except maybe alcohol (and probably a few other things, lol).

As for your body? Time is the only thing that’s gonna give you that "definition," maybe paired with a little mental pep talk and some workouts meant more to strengthen your spirit anyway.

Can't wait to see your posts ten months from now. Just watch, girl... you'll see!😉

Honestly, I don't see why you'd stress about having this chicken noodle soup recipe for dinner. It doesn't leave you feeling bloated or holding onto water weight the next morning.
It might even give your metabolism a little kick while you sleep...
What do you think?🙂
Chicken noodle soup recipe in Health ·
Let's not derail the thread here...

That chicken noodle soup recipe is legit, works wonders, and honestly? I’m just out here wishing we could burn through more pounds so the girls can look even better!👋 👋 🙂 🙂

Hang in there!!🙂
Chicken noodle soup recipe in Health ·
Look, I’ve been playing the calorie game long enough to know when something is actually legit, and I'm telling you again—that chicken noodle soup recipe is a total game-changer.
While you guys were still figuring out how to stay out of trouble, I was already busy perfecting my physique.
Chicken noodle soup recipe in Health ·
Look, you didn't exactly break a sweat there... soup only works when everything clicks together perfectly, and for me, one of those big factors is just constant stress over the kids!😉

On another note, has anyone else ever been super strict about their diet, barely eating anything at all, yet the scale just won't budge?!

I think my point is pretty obvious...🙂

Joe is freaking amazing and I honestly think he just totally wrecked the whole theory.

😉

You definitely lose weight from it, even when you're "cheating" on your diet.

It works wonders on your metabolism, and it’s actually pretty decent even when you just pair it with some healthy meals!

A total game changer for me!

It’s perfect right now since I need to stick to hot, liquid stuff because of this cold, but it’ll be great in the summer too.

Honestly, even chocolate doesn't taste like anything to me lately, even though I'm still eating it, but this chicken noodle soup recipe is a godsend.🙂

My husband is always complaining about smells in the kitchen, but he's such a meathead, so...😛
Give it some time, even if that's the last thing you want to hear right now.

Even those little crow's feet you picked up POST-pregnancy... they're gonna fade!

Speaking from experience here.

A woman’s body goes through hell to recover after giving birth, but you won't see the magic happen overnight.

After my second kid, I literally looked in the mirror and thought, "Well, there it is. You're officially aging now."

Total bummer, right?😁 😉

But hey, this all works assuming you actually stick to a skincare routine... obviously.
