My sister actually went to see him. Honestly, I can’t say anything but good things about his work. When she was looking around, she couldn't find another clinic like his, but that was four years ago, so who knows how things have changed since then.
I’m dealing with the exact same thing. Winter is easy—honestly, I couldn't care less what people think about my outfit when it’s freezing outside. It’s the summer that kills me. I can't stand the heat for anything.
Even if you’re looking to jump straight into the debate, 😁 I barely know anything about this subject myself, and frankly, I couldn't care less. I'm just passing along what I've heard. 🙂
Maybe. Or at least it was within the last year—I chatted with a girl who went through it. Unfortunately, we didn't stay in touch after we both attended the same seminar, so I have no clue where she ended up now.
I’m a huge fan of bananas—honestly, I probably eat one almost every single day—but despite that, I deal with this constant chest pain. It starts right around ovulation and just lingers until my period finally shows up. On top of that, there's the issue with blood clots. I make sure to go to my OB-GYN for regular checkups, so I know everything is technically fine on paper.
Look, I can give you some solid recommendations for the local festivals, which is why I’m asking. But honestly, it’s quite a trek if you’re staying near downtown.
Yeah, that’s exactly what happened to me in San Francisco. Even though she clearly wrote down TSH, T3, and T4 on the referral, they only ran the test for TSH. So, I had to drag myself all the way back there just to get the T3 and T4 done.

That’s just not true. I finished my degree at MIT and my vision is still perfect. Plus, I know plenty of people who made it through university without needing glasses.
I’m not sure how much scientific weight there actually is behind it, but I recall reading somewhere that the moon might influence blood pressure, much like how it pulls at the tides. Personally, I struggle with chronic insomnia, so I’m probably the last person you should be taking medical advice from.

I can usually tell when the nausea is about to kick in, so I make sure to fall asleep before it hits. Seriously. If you can actually drift off, it really helps. 👍
Well, I can't do that. Even if I do manage to drift off, the nausea usually jolts me awake right in time to lose my lunch. Then I'll pass out again, only to wake up an hour or two later and start the whole cycle over. It’s a miserable loop until the trip ends. As for that ginger remedy? No chance. Just the smell of the stuff is enough to make me want to heave. 😬
Honestly, my life changed for the better about three years ago when we finally installed central AC. Before that, I remember waking up in my apartment at 8 AM feeling a literal heatwave hitting me—it was absolutely miserable. Now, the second I feel like the house is getting too stuffy, I head straight for that blast of cold air. It’s my sanctuary. People always warn you about catching a cold from the vent, and normally, I’m the type who gets a sore throat if someone even looks at me funny, but I’ve been living with the AC running all year now and haven't had a single issue.
I went through the exact same thing. I was hitting the gym regularly, eating just as well as always, yet suddenly the scale started creeping up. It turns out my thyroid was the culprit. I’m not saying that’s what happened to you, but seeing that weight gain—especially since I used to be thin and found carrying any extra weight incredibly frustrating—really spooked me. I ended up going to my doctor, and she sent me in for some hormone testing just to be safe. Sure enough, that was the issue.

Must be nice if it actually works for you. I take it, but it does absolutely nothing. I just end up feeling sluggish and totally wiped out all day.
