I’ve been using Chrome for about a month now, and I actually just downloaded the official 1.0 version too. Honestly, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. 👍

My only real gripes are that the text box on this Forum feels twice as narrow as it should be 😕, though I guess I'm used to it by now. Also, I occasionally run into a "Timed out" error... but that's about it.

And Bird is just bad. 👎

I think you mean "now you've pissed off everyone in the neighborhood."

To be honest, I never really understood what everyone saw in that movie...🤔

I think I was probably the only kid in my class (back when that film was released 🙄) who didn't crack a smile at a single scene.

Basically, just the Wayans brothers. 👎 🙂

When I need to rip my Compact Discs, I usually stick with Handbrake. 🙏

I also use that same software to encode everything using LAME 3.92.

If I ever actually find myself needing to convert one format to another—say, switching WMA over to MP3—I’ll pull out Adobe Audition, though I honestly rarely bother since Windows Media Player handles MP3, WMA, OGG, and WAV without breaking a sweat...

Long live Windows Media Player 2+. 🙏

I guess an 8th place finish isn't bad at all for her first race after being out for 😲 19 months.

Next stop is the Aspen slalom and two slaloms... I can't wait, honestly.

Tomorrow we'll be watching Ivek to see if he manages to hit any more holes in the course.😁

Once more, BRAVO JANICE!!!!! 👍

5. in order to... I mean, we need at least 8th place.

Kamea said:(I think I'm starting to sound like Bruno Kovacevic 🙄 😁 ).

Dude, stop... nobody can pull off sounding like him.

BTW, today is actually a decent day. 👍 He isn't acting all high and mighty or lecturing everyone on basic skiing skills. 🙄

Maybe it's just because he has those co-commentators helping him out. 😁

Anyway, we might see Jane soon too. 👍

Lindsey Vonn aiming for 4th.

She's trailing Anja Pearson by 1.35.

👋

Her skiing was flawless, though she definitely played it safe out there...

Way to go, Jane.

The new FIS World Cup season is finally underway.

And wouldn't you know it, Lindsey Vonn is heading back to the slopes. 👍

She’s starting at number 11 today.

So far, the Champion is out, but Pearson is currently sitting in first after those intermediate times.

GOOD LUCK JANE!!!! 👋

Yeah... I was actually thinking the exact same thing. *nods*

Well, I've got a standard CD/DVD burner and

Nero... maybe version 6.3.1.20 or even 5.5.9.17 if you're running it on an old PC
and for handling images, I usually just stick with Alcohol 120 %

K-Mart said:The model is the ND1300.

The model number speaks for itself. 😉

I’d say your burner has probably kicked the bucket, BUT... before you go running off to file a complaint, maybe try this:

1) Look for a firmware update and install it, if there's anything out there.

2) Try a different version of Nero, or just test it with some other software. Like Alcohol 120 %. That's really just for images, but it'll tell you if the drive is still functional.

3) Test it with some different types of media.

Anyway, give one of those a shot. But honestly, if it was working fine before and now it isn't, I doubt much will help besides just buying a new burner.

Go ahead and take it back to the shop where you bought the computer.

😢 😢 😢

Richard Hernandez13 said:I think it was even shown this year.

😕 😕 😕

I wouldn't go that far... I know it aired on some satellite channel over the summer... but ABC didn't show it.

Somewhere between 1 and 5 GB.

Whenever I actually get a decent chance to sit down and compile something, I usually just go ahead and burn it straight to a CD. Though, I guess these days I could probably just as easily use a DVD.

Carol Jackson45 said:Ugh... I'm so jealous. 😠

Maybe you won't be quite so jealous if I manage to track down a DVD for you? 😂

Not a single one.

The best movie ever made has to be Dragon Ninja. I just rewatched it last night, and honestly, it’s nothing short of perfection. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Robert Rodriguez6 said:It’s not exactly a new release, but...
I watched it recently and I was actually pretty impressed. Maybe because I went in expecting it to be total garbage. Basically, it's a comedy about some American college students traveling through Europe... and then everything just goes sideways.
I'd say give it a watch.

I've had this movie sitting on my hard drive for like two months now....

A buddy told me it's actually good and doesn't feel like your typical mindless comedy, but I keep putting it off. I guess I just have this nagging feeling it's going to suck. *shrugs*

So, is it worth it if I just want to kill some time?

Willard said:The guy I work with saw the movie title and honestly thought it was some low-budget teen porn.😂 😂 😂

Yeah, well, that’s just one more gem you’d find on those lists of terrible movie title translations.

Whenever US distributors have a choice between several possible titles, they somehow always manage to pick the absolute worst, most inaccurate option. 🙄 👎

I guess even if they had gone with "Alice in Wonderland" (as an allusion to Alice) it would have been better, and arguably more accurate, than this mess. 😉

D Evil or not to be said:Exactly. Joe Hisaishi did the score for
P.M., but he also worked on most of the Ghibli
films too.

Yeah... I guess Hisaishi to Miyazaki is kind of like Danny Elfman is to Tim Burton. 😉

He also scored Laputa, Kiki, Pig, and that Princess Mononoke movie I mentioned earlier. (I don't think he did Totoro, 🤔 ) Personally, though, I think his best work is the Nausicaä soundtrack. 🙏

Carol Jackson45 said:It’s honestly one of the most beautiful and bizarre animated fairy tales ever made... 👍 👍 👍

Maybe go watch "Pom Poko," which is also from Studio Ghibli, before you call this one "bizarre."😁

Just kidding... I guess it isn't actually *that* weird...😉

If I actually sat down to list everything I love about "Spirited Away," I probably wouldn't be finished until sunrise... so I won't even bother. 😁

But anyway, I was at AMC Theatres today and noticed they scheduled a screening for 7:00 PM. 👍
