Heh, you really should have watched the whole thing first.
Now I finally see how you managed to rack up 15,000 posts.*

*My mistake, I meant thousands.

Yeah, I really dig how almost none of the main cast are overexposed actors—that’s a huge win. Plus, the cinematography is top-tier.
The best part, though, is just how engaging the movie is. It features this incredibly dangerous, low-key character who nobody takes seriously... right up until he decapitates someone.
By the way, the theatrical cut here in the US is actually 40 minutes shorter than the international version.
Also, I see there's already a thread about this movie.

Mary is absolutely stunning... I still remember watching Pulp Fiction just because of Jennifer and her incredible curves.

😁
The only scene that really sticks in my mind was the one in the bathtub.

hm John Doe, judging by her username, I’d say you’re probably more about picking up a dungeon where things get wild, and all that crap.

Hajaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I still have that gorgeous two-disc DVD set lying around from back when I unfortunately had to review it for work.

THE GREATEST AND MOST AWESOME WESTERN EVER MADE.

Watching the Harmonica made me seriously want to pick up the instrument and learn how to play.
Boooyah.

Frank rules.
It’s just a shame Claudia didn't strip down a bit more; specifically during that scene where she starts bathing in the tub and those two maids join her—it was all about innocent looks and lesbian undertones, and then... regardless, the movie is fuckenly great.

And don't even get me started on the music.
Or that moment when Cheyenne lowers his boot like he’s just stepping down, but his hand is actually inside, ready to shoot the guy who thinks he's getting played.

Alias (2001-2006) in TV Series ·
It’s a solid series, though since this was just the pilot, it felt a bit long. I'm hoping things tighten up once we hit the standard episode length.
The woman is dangerous.

As far as I recall, the movie was pretty fun, but so many things I watched as a kid—even stuff I revisit now—just don't hit quite as hard as they did the first time...
Terrence Malick's "Che Guevara in Movies ·
You don't need to worry about it; they'll handle the filming themselves. I believe production kicks off sometime before summer...
Terrence Malick's "Che Guevara in Movies ·
It’s official: Terrence Malick is directing a film about the final days of Che Guevara. Benicio Del Toro is set to play Che, alongside Javier Bardem.
Apparently, Terrence Malick was actually there when Che Guevara was killed; he was supposed to be writing for the New Yorker about Che Guevara's guerrilla fighters.
The budget is sitting at $40 million.
I have to admit, I am incredibly eager to see this, especially since Terrence Malick doesn't direct all that often...
He’s actually moving a bit fast here, considering it hasn't even been 20 years since *The Thin Red Line*.
Or perhaps he just likes directing two films in quick succession.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Benicio Del Toro lands an Oscar nomination for this.
Witnesses in Movies ·
Unfortunately, the American film industry has been drifting in murky waters for quite some time now, and I don't see things changing anytime soon.
It’s best not to hold your breath or expect much.
And then there's that constant excuse about lack of funding.

For instance,
Reservoir Dogs - $30,000
LIT - $4 million

even though our domestic productions often run into several million dollars.

Richard Hernandez13, I'm with you on that—Sofia is absolutely adorable.

Since I review DVDs for a living, I managed to get my hands on this one about a week ago, and I have to admit I’m pretty disappointed—this version clocks in at just 110 minutes, even though the international cut is supposedly 160 minutes long.
Regardless, the movie itself is FANTASTIC! It’s a true East Asian masterpiece, and it’s rare to see such an incredibly cool cast of lead characters.
The photo gallery is excellent, too.

deep kick said:Come on, Justin Patel, with that whole holier-than-thou attitude, just stop replying to this thread. Go start some topics that are actually relevant to the human race—something that'll elevate us all to a higher evolutionary plane while you solve world hunger, thirst, and nuclear proliferation on your way out.

And maybe pick up a sense of humor while you're at it. 👋

You're taking yourself too seriously, or you think I am.

🙂

Don't.

Damn right.
I already said the same thing somewhere up above...

Susan Wright12, you really cracked me up.

First off, you haven't even seen the movie.
Second, because I actually watched it—and liked it—you’re implying I’m not qualified to have an opinion (which makes me wonder why *you* think you are). If I say the exact same thing about the film, well, you can kiss my shiny ass; I couldn't care less.
And third, those sexual insinuations you made regarding a movie you haven't even viewed, yet proceeded to trash, are totally out of line and have nothing to do with having good taste.
How should I put this...

we're talking about objective (un)quality here.
Lost in translation in Movies ·
Susan Wright12, that movie exists specifically so you don't have to watch it.
You’re being a bit too grumpy, honestly.
But hey, good for you for having the energy to write a whole essay about a thirty-minute film.
It sounds like TV series are more your speed.
Bands you absolutely disdain in Music ·
What was said above was off-topic.
Anyway, why on earth would I disdain any band? That’s just ridiculous. This whole thread is pretty silly too, only existing because the author had to start a new one instead of using an old one (you guys come up with the strangest reasons)...
If you don't like a certain band, then just don't listen to them.

I recently rewatched Snow White, it's available on streaming, released back in '37, but man, does it still hold up.
It was their first feature-length film, and people actually told Disney they were going to go broke.
Ha!
