Like, seriously, the link between spirituality and mental health is scientifically proven—it's even taught as a course in medical schools in more developed countries. It doesn't matter if it was Jesus, Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, or maybe even Bono—the truth is people just lack spirituality, awareness, and most importantly, love. Today it's all about ego and just "me, me, me"... which leads to nothing but sickness. So now everyone's just racing to the psychiatrist for a handful of pills.
Way to go! 🙏
For me, it didn't last 30 days—it was only 5! It’s different for everyone. Hang in there and just know you're going to beat this awful thing. If you can, try to stay busy, even if it's just a nice daily walk in the sun, and watch what you eat. You've got this!
Honestly, I think digging up the past like that was just a mistake—especially when it gets into such intimate territory. I totally get why you’re reacting this way, and I really believe things will settle down if your partner puts in the work to show you she's all in. But hey, look on the bright side: consider this a massive lesson for the future to just leave those old relationship stories in the rearview mirror!
It’s always a great time to work on being a better person—don't wait for a New Year's resolution to start! I really think the key is not letting yourself stall out when you feel like you've taken two steps back. Just keep telling yourself, "I want this, I can do this, and I know I'll make it happen." Good luck everyone!
He’s going to be an amazing lawyer someday!👎
Run the other way if you see someone like that...
You're one of the few who realized the joke was on us right away.
Good things come to those who give. Just keep being a good person to them and trust that it’ll eventually change their tune!🙂
Honestly, I think we all need to show a bit more grace and respect toward one another on here. Usually, when people feel the need to lash out at everyone else in their lives, it’s just because they’re unhappy and stuck in their own misery. I actually feel bad for them...🙄
I honestly feel like every girl went through that same phase in her teens, totally crushing on some older guy...☕
Maybe you're just being too open and drawing too much attention, or maybe you just love being the center of the spotlight and they can't handle it. If you really feel like they have no reason to dodge you, then go find some new girlfriends. Cheers!🙄
I’d like to think I’m a pretty tolerant person! I always try to step into someone else's shoes and keep from judging them. My whole motto is basically just treating people the way I want to be treated. I'm never late for meetings, either—honestly, the only thing that really gets under my skin is when other people show up late. I don't feel like it's my job to judge anyone else.
The people you're talking about? I bet one of these days it'll finally click for them. They'll realize that if they keep acting this way, society won't accept them, and they'll end up totally alone without a single friend left.
Anyway, that's just how I see things...😛
I’m really not a fan of shady or dishonest people, but I still try my best to find the silver lining in everyone since everybody has something good to offer!
My faith is also my biggest driving force for everything I do. God gave me this life and placed so much trust in me, so I feel this responsibility to Him to leave a bright mark on this world. When things get tough, I try to see it as a test of character—just a chance to grow through the struggle and become a better person. God never gives us a burden heavier than we can handle.😉
Just because nobody in your family has mental health issues doesn't mean you can't deal with them yourself. Even in my house, there’s no history of it, yet I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression. Honestly, life is just so high-pressure these days that almost everyone hits a wall at some point. It's unfortunately what we get with this whole "mainstream" capitalist lifestyle.👎

Is it really worth spending four years of your prime life feeling lifeless instead of actually living and enjoying yourself? I don't know your specific situation, but we all hit low points sometimes. I get the intrusive thoughts—everyone goes through phases like that—but four years is a long time. Don't let what other people say be the worst part; the way you feel is what matters. Now, the real question is whether you're actually doing anything to get out of this, or if you've just tried some pills. I'm no psychologist, so I don't know how meds work, but I don't think a pill can fix things if you don't change your mindset toward something positive. No medication can do that. My advice? Read some psychology books, get some grit, stay positive, and start fighting back. I think you can pull yourself out of this on your own.
Exactly! You aren't a doctor or a psychiatrist, so please don't give medical advice on things you aren't an expert in. Stick to other topics where you can actually offer helpful insights!
Suffering is supposed to make us better people. It wouldn't even make sense if death were just the end and there wasn't an eternal life waiting for us.
Never stop believing that things are gonna get better... Good luck!
