As for the GPU, any graphics card will work with any motherboard, but you didn't even mention what kind of monitor you're using! What's the resolution? If you're trying to push anything higher than 1080p, you're going to need a much beefier graphics card.

You're wrong. It reads NTFS just fine. My SanDisk 640GB drive is plugged straight into my Smart TV... maybe 3GB is just too much for it? Is there even a 3GB 2.5" external drive available for purchase anymore?? Honestly, the moment I see an external drive that requires its own power supply, I run the other way.
