... I haven't even managed to listen to the rest yet, mostly because my piece-of-junk phone decided it has an issue with this record, skipping all over the place (even though there isn't a single scratch on it). Regardless, I'm a huge fan of Chokebore, and I really dig Love 666—though not quite as much as their first one, which is my go-to EC Disi noise rock 😁. As for Supernova, words just don't do them justice. The cover says "Thanks to those who truly believe," and honestly, I'm proud to say I'm one of them. 🙂
Supernova, Chokebore - "Anything Near Water," "A Taste for Bitters," Love 666 - "Please Kill Yourself," Feedtime - "Billy"... Honestly, I lost count. Regardless, the whole lot was only ten bucks—you won't find a better deal than that. That's just how things are in the Midwest. Back in Indianapolis, I dropped $38 on some Transvision Vamp, Cave Kicking, and two Talking Heads releases, all of them crappy local pressings. One of the Talking Heads records is missing a track, and the Cave one is missing two (including "Black Betty," dammit!)... Unbelievable.
Man or Monster isn't even close... Out of all those mindless punk/R&B bands, I actually love Steve McQueen (not because nobody else has heard of them 😁, but because they’re genuinely perfect). I haven't heard YYY, but since > decided to veer off-topic, I might as well suggest everyone hunt down the album "Ages 3 and up" by Supernova, even if you have to dig through Soulseek. It’s pure bliss! (I picked up the vinyl for $5.00, along with five other AmRep LPs for the same price... 😁)
Heh, if I mentioned Glass, it means there’s zero chance I didn't think of Sex Machine; though honestly, Glass was even better. Believe me... 😁
I assume the first tape Mother released—the one everyone seems to obsess over—was put out by Francis, and it’s just titled "Mother." It has a few tracks that aren't on "Reason," but as for the exact differences, I can't quite recall... I’d have to listen to it again, but how am I supposed to do that while this is playing...
Princess, you’ve got it wrong—the last album was actually titled "Umri' ću od bonace." Their debut is just "Šo!Mazgoon." You really should have checked out some tracks from that first record; songs like "Črčojak" and "Tramunton" were practically hits back in the day. To be honest, that debut remains one of my all-time favorite American albums... truly beautiful. I wasn't a huge fan of the second one, and I haven't had a chance to listen to the new release yet.

Tyler Grant86 says So does that make the Washington, D.C. Music Biennale an import from Mexico too?
Hah...
By the way, the local college union shifted its entire vibe a few years back, ditching the punk and alternative scene for straight-up country music. Now you've got DJ krmak spinning there and they're running these "open mic nights." It’s just symptomatic of the times we're living in...
My buddy Tom had the absolute best names for his cats. His first one was named Tom, just like him; the second was Boldrick, then came Ramones, and the fourth was SKA. Yeah!
Honestly, people name their cats and dogs after singers (mine is Sid 🙄 ). A child should be treated with a bit more respect. Iggy, for heaven's sake? 😲

That's Life! 👍
Look, obviously nobody buys everything. I’ve got a massive library of MP3s myself, but still... There's always the option to actually purchase things, I guess. Whatever. It doesn't really matter... 😳
Getting back to the original thread, the only Patton project I’ve actually sat through is Tomahawk, and even then, it was strictly for Duane Denison. Honestly, it never really clicked for me...
