At least there's one silver lining: Peter Sellers is actually funny, unlike Woody Allen.😬
They don't look anything like him to me.

You clearly don't watch enough horror. ☕ Though, if you think that sequel is garbage, you aren't wrong. It's just a pile of senseless violence. 👎
boldlynx2 said:Honestly, I wasn't really feeling this one. It was pretty stomach-turning—just endless scenes of them slicing people up and then stitching them back together. Pretty gross, if you ask me.

You’re probably thinking of the remake sequel, right?

I have a general aversion to swarms of insects—ants, cockroaches, beetles, you name it... just gross.😳

You aren't alone. I feel the exact same way. It's revolting.

Here is something bizarre...
A few years back, I rented "Type 2" (a terrible movie, by the way) from a local video rental shop. The clerk handed me the case, and I headed home.
I get home, sit down on the couch, turn on the VCR, and pop the case open—only to find it full of ants! 😲 And it wasn't just a couple of strays; there was a whole damn colony in there, complete with eggs and those little winged ones, all crawling over the tape... 😲 🤮
My instinct was to toss the box and the tape the second I opened it... Once I regained my composure, I took the box out to the balcony and dumped that mess out... The tape actually worked fine.

I have no idea how, HOW, an ant nest managed to form inside that box... gross...

Too bad the movie wasn't them! 🤣 🤣

It’s nothing unusual, really. One time at a beach house, I found a whole nest of some kind of cockroach inside a box of rice.

Well, I ran into a similar mix-up at the local Blockbuster. I was browsing the shelves and spotted American Psycho 2. It reminded me that I hadn't actually seen the original, so I told the clerk I was looking for American Psycho—thinking of the first one—which happened to be in stock too. It wasn't until I got home that I realized she had handed me the sequel...😵
I’m honestly holding out hope that they finally greenlight a film based on the Preacher comic. 🙏 🙏 🙏
Or maybe just give us a series based on Hellblazer.
Hmm, I doubt a movie centered on that Vorkosigan character would be any good. Personally, I found the whole series quite tedious.

before Divix. 😁 hoping I can still find another movie. 🙏

Hardly. It all comes down to Lucas since he’s got a total monopoly on Star Wars. Honestly, maybe it's better this way after the mountain of garbage he pumped out in those last three installments... those newer ones, god, what an absolute joke those prequels were...
brisksailor3 said:Corto Maltese 🙂

Not at all. I just can't picture him as a live-action character after seeing that brilliant animated film with the crossroads... 👍

Zachary Thompson9 said:Why does that get under your skin so much? It’s just some lighthearted banter... honestly. Besides, he can totally "stare" at the back of your head while simultaneously pinning the blame on the guy who actually did it. Total Superman move right there.

The lead character is what really grates on me. That ridiculous cigar he's always puffing on, all that unnecessary posturing and rambling before he actually identifies the culprit. And once he finally knows who did it, he has to go through this whole elaborate routine just to force a confession...

But this guy doesn't just have action; he’s got Matrix, Kill Bill, and Hero... Plus, there's a hot pink-haired ninja and a gorgeous blonde redneck girl...

How could a movie featuring this clip possibly be bad? (Just click the blue button; ignore the US rating warning saying it's for adults only)

I have porn for that.🤣

Nothing beats Matrix, Kill Bill, or Hero.🙏 🙏

Female ninjas don't exist.👎

It can be good. If I'm going to watch an action flick led by a woman, let it be someone like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, not these idiots trying to imitate Charlie's Angels. Absolute trash.

I tried sitting through a few of his movies, but I just can't get into them. Knowing who the killer is from the jump ruins the whole experience; I'm basically just sitting there waiting for Lieutenant Columbo to finally corner the culprit. It’s incredibly grating...

Finally, an actual, faithful adaptation of the games... 😁 Instead of all that nonsense—loose interpretations, stolen concepts, and just peddling franchises for a quick buck.
Hannibal Rising (2007) in Movies ·
Between the ridiculous cover art where Hannibal looks like he was sculpted out of Play-Doh, the tedious trailer, and that nonsensical prequel—honestly, I don't get why anyone thinks watching those is appealing. It’s just a cycle of mediocre remakes like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequels or Ginger Snaps 3, and now this Hannibal mess. Plus, I'm just not feeling the casting for the lead role...
Chloe Thompson said:Honestly, I’d give anything to see a movie adaptation of Dylan Dog or Zagora.

It’s already been done. Dylan Dog is basically Dellamorte, Dellamorte, and they did Zagora in Turkey...😁

casualotter21, take it easy. 🤣 👍

I'm in complete agreement on all counts.
The first one was absolute garbage. I’m not particularly a fan of Michelle Rodriguez, except for Grindhouse, which I’m actually looking forward to. Here, she’s just unbearable playing some mindless bitch. 🙄 And Milla Jovovich from The Fifth Element is equally unwatchable; it feels like she was forced into this role. Same goes for Kate Winslet in her action roles—I just can't see her as an action heroine.

Credit where credit is due, though: if she manages to pull off those stunts in that ridiculous dress, it's impressive—even if the fight scenes are among the most idiotic things I've ever seen. That kung fu jump and the bloody dog...

Then there's that pathetic amnesia plot, which is just a stolen monster trope ripped straight from the original Resident Evil series. As for the zombies, they feel like they wandered out of 28 Days Later, but that movie isn't even a zombie flick, let alone horror. 👎

I'm certain Uwe Boll would have filmed a hundred times better than this Paul W.S. Anderson guy, who was already responsible for the Alien vs. Predator disaster.

And the sequel? Aside from recycling more ideas from the games and shoehorning in characters from the franchise, the plot is even stupider, the fights are pathetic, the acting is poor, the special effects are weak, and the whole thing is just boring.

You might have some decent moments there, but that’s hardly enough to justify calling the movie a masterpiece. Besides, that was more than enough reason for me to stop wasting my time on those mindless flicks that rely solely on eye candy to lure people in. 🙄
I’d love to see them actually make movies based on those comic runs—*Ash vs Ash*, *Ash vs Reanimator*, maybe even *Ash vs Darkman*. That would be incredible. Imagine *Jeffrey vs Bruce*, not to mention those insane creatures from the comics... 🙏 🙏
