I actually liked it. I'm not usually into rom-coms, but this one was pretty cool. It was decent enough to just zone out and turn my brain off for a bit... maybe even worked for me.
The movie's actually decent, and honestly, the cast is pretty stacked with big names. Even that kid in it—I think he was in Jurassic Park III, if I remember right (not that I’m gonna go check now)

They're all horror movies. Every single one is a Friday the 13th sequel, and in all of them, Jason is the killer.
PEACE!!!
I just couldn't get past this... Like, in the first one, the 1980 friday the 13th, Pamela Voorhees—Jason's mom—gets killed. He only shows up in that last scene, and then he's the one killing people starting with the sequel.
Jason X is honestly terrible!! My favorite—or maybe my least favorite—scene has to be when they slice him up and he falls onto that machine that builds his new parts, turning him into the ultimate version: Jason X!!! Just awful!!
I'm really not a fan of movies that just try to ride the coattails of some old classic, but I guess I'll still check this one out since I'm a sucker for horror

I can only assume it’s a little jab at his past 🤣 🤣
or is it just a coincidence?? 😕🤷 anyway, is he Mark's brother or what?
I started making a list of all the horror movies I've seen, but honestly, once I scrolled through a few pages just trying to remember what I could, I just gave up...

But then, during that final scene where the cop walks into the room where Amanda and that wife—you know the one—were hanging out, Jigsaw is just lying there dead, exactly like he was in the third movie... I don't get it, maybe I'm just tripping and missed something 🤷
That part bugged me too, so I basically just stopped trying to figure it out. I figured it’s probably just how it happened and they'll iron out the details in future sequels. Or maybe we both just missed something everyone else caught??
Just watched the movie and honestly, it was great. I'm still a little confused about a few plot points, but I'm pretty sure everything will get cleared up in the sequels...
Some movies just aren't available on Blu-ray, even though they were easy to find on VHS back in the day. Plus, not everyone has the bandwidth or desire to constantly download stuff from the internet... personally, I'm all for keeping some VHS tapes, just for specific titles. I think people take this whole Blu-ray collecting thing way too seriously. For me, it’s more important to actually own the movies I want—whether that's an old tape or a disc—than to have a library of a thousand digital files that I haven't watched, don't care about, or are just low-quality rips. I've got maybe 30 original Blu-rays and a few burned ones, and honestly, having those real cases on my shelf feels much better, kind of like having a little home video library. I never touch those digital files, and they definitely don't get any display space. I also still have some original tapes that I really cherish, so I'm not planning on getting rid of my VCR anytime soon. No offense intended, just how I feel...
So, I’ve basically learned that teenagers in movies always live alone, they never actually have homework, and lunch breaks are long enough to drive home, hit a job, or head to an OBGYN. Everyone wakes up looking like they're ready for a night out at a club, too. Nobody ever deals with stuff like, "Oh man, I have a midterm tomorrow." It’s always, "I'm pregnant," or "My girlfriend dumped me" (and yeah, we're still talking about teens here), or "I'm an alcoholic." Plus, you can just hang out all night, everyone drives, and obviously, everyone has fake IDs.
