I agree it doesn't even come close to the original, but it’s got its own vibe. I love slashers, so I'm honestly pretty curious to see what Rob is gonna do with the sequel... the original follow-up didn't really do it for me, maybe just that one scene where the nurse gets killed in the boiling water that stuck in my head...

Maybe you noticed the first slip-up, but Laurie isn't even wearing the same shirt she had in the first movie.
I haven't checked it out yet, just wondering—does the movie actually follow the original plot, or was the first one just used as a loose framework for something totally different?
Also, Wanted actually caught me totally off guard. I was expecting something huge, but if I’m being honest—and maybe a bit rude here—it was kind of crap. It’s actually just a fun, decent action flick. I guess I love it when I expect nothing from a movie and it actually turns out okay. I'm not really an Ang Lee fan, but whatever, I managed to get through it 😬

The Dark Knight and Iron Man actually left a pretty great impression on me. Iron Man was even better since I wasn't expecting anything from it, so it totally caught me off guard. Batman was 😍
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is honestly one of the better comedies out lately. It really surprised me in a good way... 🙂

If you ask me, a lot of movies end up being unintentional satires or parodies anyway. Most remakes, for instance, act as a parody of the original while simultaneously serving as a satire of Hollywood itself. I was watching the 2007 version of > the other day—honestly, it feels like a parody of the 1986 >!
I guess the only way I can actually respect this as a decent parody is because they play it totally straight. They treat it like a regular movie, which honestly makes it better—it doesn't try too hard with the horror spoofs. It just works.
Like, that school janitor Fred looking like Freddy Krueger, or that scene where Randy stops Halloween: you don't know the rules????? 🙏 Nothing even comes close to Scream.
Ugh, what a disaster. She was complaining about what she watched at the theater. It was totally pointless and such a cheap rip-off of Into the Blue with Jessica Alba and Paul Walker. That’s what really bugged me, but honestly, the whole movie just sucked. And that girl Gemma—or whatever her name is—man, do people actually exist that stupid??? Seriously, it was awful.
