I'm jumping into this debate briefly. I don't usually fight with Politics nor am I overly familiar with these specific complaints.

But... your logic is flawed. I'll use your exact example against you.

"Hang Mexicans from trees"
-> imperative
- the only possible interpretation: "let us hang Mexicans from trees"

"Mexicans were on the trees"
- -> perfect tense
- 2 possible meanings:
1) A threat: "Mexicans were on the trees; watch out so it doesn't happen again"
2) An observation: "Mexicans were on the trees; it never happened again"

Only the sender and recipient can see private messages. In extreme cases, admins can view them if one party reports a message.

It is quite pointless to explain things individually when they are already covered in the FAQ.

A moderator doesn't necessarily have to issue a ban or a warning to clear out a post or a thread. It’s obvious they decided simply deleting the thread was enough without needing further disciplinary action.

For a more detailed explanation, you can send a PM to one of the moderators for that specific subforum or start a formal complaint on the Message Appeals subforum.

Some chats have been wiped. If you posted anything in them, those posts are gone and they aren't coming back (they are permanently deleted).

The Moderator doesn't actually have the power to manually grant or deny permissions to individual users. It's all automated. You can delete a post for a short window, but once that passes, you're out of luck. Same goes for editing. Also, on certain subforums, users are blocked from deleting posts entirely (like in the ban corner).

You can delete your posts for as long as you're able to edit them (if I recall correctly). After that, you can ask the moderator of that specific subforum to wipe them. But if there’s already a thread building on top of your comments, I doubt they'll agree to it.

The issue is you aren't just posting an image; you're attempting to embed a whole slideshow. You need to provide a direct link to the image itself. It should look like this:

And that’s exactly what I proved right here. Just look at ten or more of my previous posts if you don't believe me.
So, here’s an example. I type "write" and it comes out as "wite." Basically, when I hit a key, nothing happens, then when I press the next one, the first letter suddenly pops up late. It's ridiculous.
I have to say, I check other forums too, and I never run into this kind of nonsense elsewhere. Maybe someone else is dealing with this same issue. That’s all I have to say about that "vroom vroom" crap.
I guarantee the computer is fine, to the best of my knowledge. Clearly, I’ll need to spend more time studying the rules here on this forum.

I haven't been registered here for two months; I've actually been around for two years. So, I already know the ropes regarding this forum and how to log in.

This definitely has nothing to do with this forum; it’s strictly an issue with you or your computer. I'm a Computer Science graduate who builds web applications using the exact same tech stack this site runs on. I know this stuff inside and out. If I tell you the problem is on your end, believe me. Any other explanation just doesn't hold water. It's obvious to anyone with a basic grasp of web technology.

I already stated that this is a fundamental issue with the forum itself. However, I also provided two workarounds that actually work—I've tested them myself—to help you get by until the bug is fixed. As for when a permanent fix is coming? Who knows. But don't hold your breath; it won't be anytime soon. Just use one of the solutions I gave you.

I suspect there's an issue with the banner ads on Reddit (though I can't say for sure). My suggestion would be to install something like John Doe while you're browsing. I use John Doe myself and I've never run into anything like this. It's most likely an ad-related glitch.

Your explanation is incredibly vague. What does "letters are mixing" even mean? Be precise. Your post is about as helpful as someone telling a mechanic:
- My car isn't working.
- How so? What are the symptoms?
- It goes "vroom vroom," then it doesn't. Why won't it work?

Whatever this "mixing letters" thing is, it’s almost certainly an issue with your hardware (or how you're using it), not a bug with this site. If it were a site-wide issue, everyone would be complaining about it. Since they aren't, the problem is on your end.

I can't speak to the logout issue. It might be a glitch with the site itself. The easiest fix is to just check the "remember me" box when you log in. As for managing multiple accounts, just create separate user profiles on your computer (or, if you want to be difficult, manually log out before you finish your session).

If you take too long while typing a post, the forum might automatically log you out. It's set to a very short session timeout—maybe five minutes. If you spend too much time drafting, it'll kick you off.

Check if your keyboard is acting up or if you have malware on your computer (standard IT security stuff).

3. Also not a forum issue.
If multiple people are using the same computer, then you aren't using it correctly. Every user needs their own profile. If you actually used the machine properly, these problems wouldn't exist. But that's not what this subforum is for.

Define what you mean by "it kicks me out."

Alternatively, you might be able to disable clicking on the touchpad so it only handles scrolling. But honestly, that’s a question for the IT Help subforum, not this one...
