Paranormal Activity 4 (2012)

Man, you’re gonna be waiting forever. I was actually just scrolling through some random overseas forum the other day and saw someone claiming they've already got a fifth installment in the works—which is wild, considering the current one hasn't even hit theaters yet... I mean, maybe? Who knows. I guess we'll see. 😁
Look, I’m a patient guy. I really am. 😁

I'm just gonna sit tight and wait until every single part drops, then I'll probably binge the whole set at once. 😁

I put this image up since there isn't an official poster out yet. All we have is this little thing, but man, it's way too blurry.
Anyway, just to get it out of the way—I personally thought the first Fast & Furious with Jason Statham was great, and I guess the second one was maybe a tiny bit worse, but still a solid watch.
Luke Goss is back in the lead role, which didn't surprise me at all, and honestly, I don't mind it like some people do.
He did a pretty decent job playing "Carl Lucas / Frankenstein," so he’s sticking with it for this sequel. As for the rest of the cast, we've got the old crew from the second movie: Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, and Tanit Phoenix.
Fast & Furious X is gonna be a direct follow-up to Fast & Furious 2, which was actually a prequel to the original Fast & Furious. So, I guess that means we basically have two prequels now.
In this installment, Carl Lucas has already won four races and has to pull off a few more if he ever wants to see freedom. Right before his final race, Lucas and his crew get moved to a different prison. The whole final showdown happens out in the desert... you can find more details over on Wikipedia.
And yeah, definitely check out the trailer.
Fast & Furious X should be hitting US theaters around December this year. 🙂

I mean, I think Shia LaBeouf is a totally fine guy and he definitely knows how to act.
Personally, though, Taylor Lautner just really gets on my nerves—he’s super grating, sorry to his fans—and honestly, because of him, I couldn't even bring myself to watch Abduction, even though it actually looked like a pretty decent movie.

The Exorcist (2012)

Judging by the trailer and how the story's shaping up, I’d say Sam Raimi definitely had a huge hand in guiding the director here...
If that's actually the case, then we shouldn't have much to worry about...
Because let's be real—Sam Raimi knows his stuff.
😁
ps.
Even though the whole exorcism and obsession trope is pretty much played out at this point...
I'm really hoping this turns out to be one of those rare gems that actually hits the mark...

Bullet to the Head (2013)

Man, oh man, Jason Momoa! I am seriously living for this epic showdown between him and Stallone—it’s giving me those same vibes I had when I was waiting for that Vin Diesel vs The Rock scrap in Fast Five. 🙂
I mean, sure, Jason is still pretty much just starting out, but honestly? With a physique like that, I think he’s got a massive future ahead of him in action movies... maybe even a new Jason Statham in the making... 😁
Major respect to Thomas, though. They really could have cast him in something else, but hey, I guess that's just how it goes.
p.s.
I’m getting more and more hyped for all this stuff coming up in 2013—The Last Stand, The Tomb, Bullet to the Head, Riddick, Machete Kills, Universal Soldier 4...
it's gonna be wild 👍

trailer release
Trailer
So, we’ve got a new Western coming up starring Tom Hardy. 🙂 Based on the trailer, it looks like some pretty decent drama/Western hybrid, and honestly, those high ratings make me think it might actually be worth watching. We've also got Shia LaBeouf—you know, from Transformers—alongside Guy Pearce and Gary Oldman. I mean, the cast is stacked, which is always a good sign, right? The film hits theaters here in the USA on August 29th.
Plot: Set in the Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, a bootlegging gang is threatened by authorities who want a cut of their profits.

Red Sonja Remake

briskbison55 said:Honestly, I’m kind of leaning towards Monica Bellucci playing her, though I guess that might not be the most realistic choice either... :-)
First off, Monica Bellucci would never touch a trashy flick like this with a ten-foot pole. 😁 Second, she’s way too old for a role like this—I mean, sure, the big boobs might be the only thing that fits, but honestly, who cares? That's totally irrelevant for this movie. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for seeing some nice assets, but in this case, it just doesn't matter because, in my book, Red Sonja is the only one for the job.
It's kind of a bummer, really. 😢
Red Sonja Remake

Ever since they started swapping out actresses, it feels like the directors have absolutely no clue what they’re doing... just a total mess. 😕 It's such a joke—there isn't a single damn thing posted on IMDb either. 🙂 Honestly, I think Rose McGowan would be pretty great as Red Sonja. I mean, remember her in Planet Terror? She killed it in those action scenes... plus, I'd actually love to see her rocking the red hair. Amber Heard is fine and all, but she just doesn't fit this role at all.
Now I'm seeing people posting that Megan Fox would be perfect for it. 🤣
I really hope we get some actual info soon, because at this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if they just scrapped the whole production entirely. ☕
