Nah... he only wiped out one family... sure, they were a huge group, but that's hardly his fault... 😁

I’ll give it this much: the ending was clever and I didn't see it coming, but at the end of the day, it was just a weak attempt at being "original." Honestly, I thought Strangers was way more intense.
See, that's a perfect example of how everyone sees movies differently🙂 personally, I thought Strangers was totally mindless. It was okay until I figured out who the strangers actually were, but after that?!? then you just start asking questions—like, why? what's their goal? how do they manage to vanish from a wide field of vision just because you blink? seriously... plus when you remember that "based on a true story" bit... it's just stupid. plain and simple.
Mirror might not have fully nailed the concept, but it definitely fits into that super bingeable category of supernatural horror.
I've always had a soft spot for Bruce Springsteen too—he's such a great musician. I actually first stumbled upon him when that Auberge video was playing on MTV... been hooked ever since.
Nobody seems to have mentioned that he's way more than just a casual car guy: I actually caught a race where he was behind the wheel (pretty sure it was a Porsche Carrera. He didn't exactly take home the trophy, but man, it was cool enough just seeing him out there, you know?).
Anyway, you rarely come across a bassline as infectious as the one in The Road to Hell.

holy crap, what's wrong with DVD? it's not like watching a DVD automatically means you're stuck with a tiny 15" monitor and crappy 2w speakers... please...
Since I’m not really into shockers, slashers, or those "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Wrong Turn" type chainsaw horrors—I gotta say, Mirror was actually pretty decent. It was alright, though it could've been better—some of the animation was honestly kind of rough (like: !spoiler!: that bathtub scene where the sister's jaw gets ripped out )—but overall, it's a solid one-time watch. So, my rating? A solid 7/10.
Bad movie. Even having Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in the cast didn't save this one—not even a little... plus they really tried to sell us on the idea that De Niro can still pull off those intense roles constantly... like, how? Yes/no. 😁

Look, interpret Pythonesque humor however you want, but at its core, it's a parody... a parody of history, specific events, and plenty of other things... just remember their parody of the Packinpahov style and films...

Honestly, I don't even want to argue with idiots who think they've mastered all the world's wisdom just because they skimmed a few encyclopedias...🙄 I have some advice for you... get real before you start any argument. You think you know me and my level of knowledge? Don't bet on it, kid...👍 The fact is, you're just looking down on parodies because you don't personally care for the concept, and that's fine—that's your right. But saying parodies are the absolute bottom of cinematic art is a stretch; there are way too many quality comedies out there for me to agree with that. And as for that point about famous names... LOL.😂 Does having a big name automatically mean a movie is good, regardless of the genre?? I wouldn't say so.👍
Sorry, but I'm pretty sure this thread isn't actually about those kinds of movies—it’s more about parodies of specific films... unless I totally missed the point, which is also possible. Honestly, comparing a true Monty Python fan to the Scary Movie franchise—or any other garbage like that—is straight-up blasphemy. Top Secret is actually an awesome flick—it’s such a great parody that pokes fun at basically every movie cliché out there—but honestly... Meet the Spartans, Scary Movie, Epic Movie, and all those other ones? Yeah, they totally deserve to be called trash. Like I said at the start of this thread—yeah, parodies are total trash. They're just made by people who lack the actual creativity to build something from scratch—if they had any real guts, they’d make their own comedies instead of just mocking someone else's work... but honestly, they just aren't capable of it.
Hard pass—absolutely not. I honestly feel like anyone can rip off an existing idea—it’s actually pretty easy to do. It's way harder, though, to make a movie successful enough that people actually recognize it when a parody shows up. To me, a parody is just the creator admitting they can't come up with anything original themselves. So, like someone else already said, I just can't stand parodies.
Now this is what actual teamwork looks like: Piquet stirs up a mess that his crew handles perfectly—and boom, there’s Alonso sitting pretty in first place. That’s why Ferrari basically trips over their own feet when nobody else can beat them. Their pit light system is absolutely trashed... And the Iceman... man, I’ve got nothing left to say... just a total moron.
...and at the end of the day, nobody's gonna be champion...
The penalty wasn't even that harsh. Given what that guy pulled, he deserved a drive-through—simple as that. Since the race was already wrapped up, they just tacked on the time it would’ve taken him to serve it during the race.
And yeah, I'm stoked for Ferrari... both of them.😁

How do gas station workers on the interstate get home if they live in the opposite direction? Do they just drive to the next exit and loop back, or is there some other trick? Hmm?
I know it’s definitely not the "official" way to do things, but I've seen people use those median cutouts more than once... they just pull a U-turn right onto the highway. Something you could never dream of pulling off in Switzerland—you'd lose your license instantly—but here, you'd probably just lose your job for a bit.
Honestly, I've seen plenty of them—not just gas station crews, but road maintenance guys, construction workers, all sorts. One time, seeing someone pull a move like that almost cost me my life—those two idiots in the red Chevy nearly caused a wreck (I actually wrote about that over on an auto forum back then)...

Total newbie or just getting started—that’s the real question. Good call on not starting a new thread—keeps things clean. It’s a bit of a bummer looking at how old this topic is, though—you're definitely playing catch-up with the rest of the world...
Morgan Turner5 said:Such a trash movie... You’ve got these four idiots wandering into a cave without telling a single soul or bringing any guys along for backup... yeah, right... total "independent women" vibes. We all saw how that turned out for them in the end.
man, damn—they should've called you for backup... you wouldn't have even noticed they were missing... unless you were too busy counting boobs, right? 😁
Here’s a few clips from the show—honestly, looking back, they don't even come close to capturing the actual energy or the vibe of that concert... I shot these on my phone, so please don't judge the quality (cameras are strictly banned at the venue. The penalty is getting kicked out, and obviously, I wasn't about to risk that)

(The second video is uploading super slow. Link coming tomorrow)
Man, yesterday I finally checked a massive item off my bucket list: I actually saw Jean Michel Jarre live 😁
The show went down at Madison Square Garden in New York. Since it was an indoor gig, it didn't have that huge open-air vibe, but honestly—anyone who lives for Jean Michel Jarre's sound had an absolute blast. The sound was killer, Jean Michel Jarre was in a great mood, and the crowd was totally stoked (aside from a few folks who probably snagged cheap tickets and bailed after just a few tracks)
I'll drop a link once I get some stuff uploaded to YouTube.
