We are talking about the timeframe between initial infection and when the body produces enough antibodies for an HIV test to actually catch it. Essentially, if someone gets infected in April, their blood might not show any detectable HIV during May.

So I figured that the blood should be tested AFTER that three to four month window, rather than immediately.
