To be perfectly honest, I wasn't exactly riding a wave of hype for the Flash film, especially considering how desperately they mishandled his character in the Justice League movie and that rather questionable suit design, but then a little sneak peek surfaced over on the fan forums.

I feel like it’s almost a certainty now that we are looking at a screen adaptation of Flashpoint, because you can clearly see the Speed Force effects and Keaton's Batman, and when that final shot shows him pulling back the cover, I am about 99% convinced that what's sitting underneath is the 1989 Batmobile.

As far as the costume goes, it looks significantly better than that absolute eyesore from the Justice League era and feels much more true to the actual Flash. Even though I felt like Miller was a complete miscast from the very beginning, if they manage to pull the execution together properly, there is a chance this could turn out to be a phenomenal film.

Do you ever get the feeling that this movie is slowly morphing into a documentary? 🤣

Honestly, this is pure genius.

I want this movie to win an Oscar so badly, just so we can watch Tommy Wiseau walk up onto that stage and accept it himself.

I have to say, I was actually really taken with the second installment 🤷 Especially that final sequence, those specific visuals inside those glass pods, if my memory serves me right

It honestly breaks my heart a little bit, feeling like one of the most defining bands of the entire 90s era is just slowly fading into the background while everyone stays obsessed with those Black Veil Brides types 😢

Man, those albums were absolute masterpieces. I was hanging out at a local rock club the other day and ended up talking to this group of musicians, and the conversation naturally drifted toward melodic death metal. One guy mentions he plays in a death metal band out in Ohio, so I decided to test the waters by asking him what he thought about "unknown" or "unknown." He just stared at me like I was speaking a foreign language—he had no clue. I had to explain, like, "Dude, it's Metallica." But turns out, he doesn't even know anything about the classic sound because he only started playing music because of unknown. It was honestly such a letdown.

I’d really love to see a collaboration or some kind of duet with general Woo-, mostly because we both share that same dark outlook on things, and more importantly, we both seem to be looking at our current reality with a pretty realistic lens

It’s a solid piece of work—I wouldn't call it a cinematic masterpiece by any stretch, but it hits exactly the notes it's aiming for, which is what really matters. Honestly, seeing how much money it pulled in at the box office, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they've already started drafting a script for a follow-up adventure 👍

Just finished watching this.

So, Badass Kevin Costner basically tears through all those low-life thugs and the rest of the bad guys, works on reconnecting with his daughter, wins his wife back, and ends up taking in an African family. A total Heroine move! Honestly, I got exactly what I was looking for, and I wasn't disappointed at all—it’s a fantastic action flick. Even the little comedic bits involving that Turk and the Italian guy actually landed for me. There’s plenty of action and some really solid scenes; I especially loved that moment in the club where he just absolutely lays waste to those punks like it's nothing 🤣

I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who digs high-octane action and loves seeing Costner 8/10 👍

Does anyone know if there are any decent or even just halfway solid stocks out there right now? 🤷

Last night I had this incredibly vivid dream where I was sharing a room with Ozzy Osbourne during a high school field trip, which is pretty wild considering I haven't stepped foot in a classroom in years—though, to be fair, I'm sure he hasn't either 🤣 🤷

He’s an absolutely brilliant musician at heart, but when it comes to his vocals, he just doesn't hit the mark for me; honestly, I feel like his voice sometimes does a disservice to some truly phenomenal compositions 😢

Will Ferrell is such an absolute class act, and honestly, he deserves a truly special occasion for a movie like this 👍

I ran into this exact same headache today while I was installing a fresh version of macOS on my laptop. No matter what resolution I pick, if it isn't the native display setting, it just leaves these huge black bars on the sides—it’s honestly such a weird thing because I don't think I've ever dealt with this before 🤷

EDIT: Got it sorted! Just in case anyone else runs into this mess, you just have to dive into your graphics settings; on my machine, I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and set the scaling to "full screen" to fix the aspect ratio.
