The Blair Witch Project in Movies ·
I haven't seen the sequel and honestly, I have zero intention of watching it because that first movie terrified me for life
Ingrown hair or something more serious? in Women's Health ·
Chris Parker3 said:I’m really not sure an ingrown hair can actually do something like that?!

Oh, trust me, they absolutely can! And it doesn't matter where on your body it happens either. My dad once had one of those nasty bumps on his back, and we actually had to use a needle and tweezers just to pull out a hair that was somehow ten centimeters long😲 you wouldn't believe it!

The same thing happened to me in my bikini area—it was incredibly painful, but I managed to squeeze it out and get the hair free.

Honestly, I've read stories on here about girls having to go to a surgeon just to have them lanced...
Miomir Žužul's daughter is getting married! in Close to Politics ·
So, I happened to be walking past the church yesterday right when the wedding was going down, and honestly, the couple was just so sweet and relaxed. They didn't feel the need to have three hundred bodyguards hovering over them or try to hide away from everyone; they were actually smiling and posing for the massive crowd of photographers

And as for those uninvited guests... well, let's just say we aren't going to talk too much about 😁
But oh man, the whole gang showed up—every high-ranking official from the local and federal ADZ, along with Štrok, Montgomery, and the rest of that crowd ☕
Carol Scott98 said:there are also people who have endured excruciating pain

Take me, for example 😲

Just opt for general anesthesia! God forbid I ever have to undergo another colonoscopy; there is absolutely no way in hell they're doing that to me while I'm wide awake
Dealing with Herpes? in Health ·
I tried those patches—total garbage! Maybe they work for some people, but they did absolutely nothing for me. And I actually shelled out $20 😠
for them.
Why is everyone so against using toothpaste? Honestly, I've had way too many people tell me otherwise lately.
Dealing with Herpes? in Health ·
Starting a new thread 😠
It popped up right on the corner of my lip and spread to the skin around my mouth in just a single day 😲
I’ve been applying Herplex cream, and I even bought those patches—which are outrageously expensive, by the way—but absolutely nothing is working!
I’m taking some immune support drops; they usually pull me through whenever I get sick, so I’m really hoping they can boost my immunity here, because if I end up getting genital herpes too, I am going to lose my mind 😠

Everything around my lip is itching like crazy, and I’m not even supposed to touch it

fadedcobra38 said:What is going on with me? 😢

About a week ago, I started feeling these weird, occasional sinking sensations right around my belly button and just to the right side of it. Then came the lower back pain and having to run to the bathroom way more often than usual. To top it all off, I've been dealing with some mild nausea.

I’ve gone through the whole wringer—full blood panels, urinalysis, ultrasounds, X-rays... you name it. But honestly? They can't find a single thing wrong.

The pain isn't exactly excruciating, but it's definitely annoying enough to mess with my day. It usually seems to flare up most in the evenings.

My doctor is leaning towards it being a possible UTI.

If that actually is what it is, is it really supposed to be this miserable? Because at this point, I am genuinely at a loss for what to do next.

So wait, let me get this straight. They're suggesting it could be a urinary tract infection, yet every single one of those tests came back completely clear? 🤔
Breast shape discussion in Women's Health ·
Nancy Cooper24 said:Could it be because they aren't firm enough? I mean, I work out every single day, and for the last few months, I've been doing chest exercises to try and tone things up, but I'm not overdoing it...🤷

Any advice?😳

Look, breasts are mostly fatty tissue. They don't have muscles inside them, so you can't really "firm them up" through exercise. If you want to prevent sagging, just wear a high-quality sports bra and call it a day.

As for any physical changes—that’s totally normal. Nipples change all the time; sometimes they're sensitive or erect, sometimes they aren't. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is.🤷
Megan Hill13 said:He basically decided there was no point in doing any swabs. Then he had the nerve to tell me I should just find someone else who can actually satisfy my needs. So, yeah... that's my experience with "the doctor."

Oh my God, 😲😠
seriously, if this guy keeps giving you the runaround, just go see a private specialist and get all those tests done properly once and for all.

Everything seemed perfectly fine on my lab results until I insisted on getting actual swabs—that's when they finally caught the ureaplasma and strep. 😲And after I went through two whole rounds of antibiotics, I ended up dealing with yeast infections. 🙄

Why on earth are gynecologists always so stingy about ordering necessary swabs?! 😠
Michelle Cook83 said:The very first time I went in, I felt like I had just landed on Mars 😂

I actually forgot my skirt the first time, so I ended up having to strip down right there in front of him 🤣
but he was honestly amazing—he really helped me relax and totally knocked out my nerves (it’s funny because he had been stressing me out some other day, but the second I saw him, I felt such a sense of relief)
It's such a bummer that he isn't working at the clinic anymore and moved over to a department at the hospital, otherwise, he'd be my go-to guy forever
Donna Wood52 said:I hear this from so many women—friends, sisters, whoever—who have gone in for pelvic exams. They all say they’d much rather have a male doctor than a female one, simply because the male gynecologists seem to have a much gentler touch than the women...

Oh, tell me about it. When my OB-GYN was doing my ultrasound, I honestly felt violated. 🤣
She shoved that probe in so aggressively I thought it was going to come up through my mouth.
How long did it take you to plan your career change? in Women's Health ·
hiddenscout362 said:Nothing for the last two years. It just won't happen.

But the moment I actually tried, it happened within the same month. Unfortunately, after two months, I had a spontaneous 😢
. As for how much longer it’ll take this time, we'll just have to wait and see...
A friend of mine really got under my skin yesterday. She was all worked up, excitedly recounting her little two-day spree—partying, drinking, staying out late, swimming in the middle of the night... just total chaos. It was one of those "you have no idea how much fun I had!" monologues. You know exactly that specific tone people use when they want to imply, "I'm having a blast while you're stuck being boring because you're pregnant and can't join in." 🤣
How to perform a proper breast self-exam? in Women's Health ·
It’s honestly best to do your own checks while you're in the shower; having the water running over your chest makes it so much easier to feel any little changes. I personally have quite a few lumps, but I recently found one that felt just a bit... different. I ended up seeing my OB-GYN, who felt the breast and told me everything was fine—just standard hormonal shifts during my cycle. Apparently, things tend to swell and get tender right before your period and then settle down afterward. The only real red flag is if those lumps stay exactly the same regardless of where you are in your cycle. Now that I'm pregnant, my breasts are constantly sore and swollen, yet they still seem to fluctuate from day to day
It's way too early for a test. Just hang tight—if I end up running behind schedule in a few days, then you can go ahead and run it

😢 You'll get them next time, good luck 😉
Paul Brooks6 said:I can't just pull those numbers out of thin air, obviously! But if I actually sit down and plug in all the variables... how likely does the math say it really is?

Just a test. You can find them at any CVS or Walgreens. In about two or three minutes, you'll have all the answers you need.

I’ve noticed a pattern where some moms tend to mirror the behavior of others, only to completely vanish from the community once certain situations start to unfold.
Isn't it interesting how people can pick up on someone's vibe just through text alone? Whether it's positive or negative, you can really feel it.

😕 I don't get it. I haven't noticed anything like that myself? But hey, I guess unfortunately even in a virtual space, people act like that sometimes. 👎
Richard Jones28 said:hiddenscout362, I'll tell you what—just stay home. Seriously, nobody is going to go easy on you, and you certainly won't be hearing any thank-yous.

Yeah, I can already see where this is going, and I’m just going to end up losing my mind😠
and honestly, given everything going on right now, that is the last thing we need.
cosmicorca15 said:So, I’m pregnant again. Second time around...
During my first pregnancy, the constant unsolicited belly touches and everyone asking if it was a boy or a girl drove me absolutely insane. And now? It's happening all over again. God, I hate this...

I honestly only touched a coworker's stomach once, and that was because she actually gave me permission and even lifted her shirt a bit so I could get a better look.🤣
