Hannah Harris87 said:What is wrong with you people?!? This is absolutely appalling; paying off doctors and nurses, handing out bribes?! In the West, that kind of thing is unheard of,

But that’s exactly the point—America isn't "the West" in that sense. And let’s be honest, when you're actually sick, you aren't exactly checking the price tag on staying alive.

My sister is heading out to visit Ivanic—well, let's just say she's traveling to a place similar to a quiet suburb outside of Chicago. After she gets back, things seem to stabilize for a little while, everything looks fine—but then, inevitably, it’s right back to square one. 😢

What I am actually trying to figure out—and bear with me here—is what an ideal meal plan would look like if someone decided to commit to this kind of diet just one day a week.

Look, if you are truly hell-bent on making a post about this, my advice is simple: stick to water and maybe some unsweetened tea. Just nothing else! No juices, no coffee, and absolutely no alcohol. There. That's it. 🥳
Al Pacino vs. Robert De Niro in Movies ·
Sarah Thompson61 said:1. Dustin Hoffman (absolutely brilliant—he can play the diplomat, the gritty underdog, the lonely guy in the rain... it’s like you’re watching entirely different people! That is what real acting looks like—unlike someone like Ashton Kutcher, who always seems to be playing the same handsome, slightly dim-witted college kid, or Jennifer Aniston, who pretty much plays the exact same character in every single role.)
2. Al Pacino (so convincing, just pure charisma—and honestly, he is incredibly magnetic to watch.)
3. And then, finally, Robert De Niro (the only time I really felt he was "different" was in Frankenstein, if my memory serves me right.)

I think I’d actually swap number 1 and 2! To me, Al Pacino is 😍 just something else with that intense, piercing gaze of his.

jadesailor14 said:1. What exactly are we being envious about here?

Oh, you aren't—not at all! You’re actually downplaying just how much ground Munch-Mayov has gained in the market lately. 🙄 😁

2. Don't worry, I'm just sitting here on the bus waiting for my five minutes of fame before life catches me off guard.

Not happening. 🙂 It’s been several months since my last massive binge-eating episode.

3. No apology needed for chocolate; we all know it's basically a superfood.

True enough. 🙂

Oh, please, stop the chatter—you ladies are just being jealous! 🙄

Thankfully, those monthly hormonal rollercoasters don't throw me off my game anymore. 🎉 But, honestly, during those days, I just convince myself that a massive sugar craving is a biological necessity—so I indulge in plenty of chocolate. 🙂
Betty Rivera14 said:all I know is people just can't get enough😁 food is never🤣

Aha! You're basically channeling Mae West here—"Too much of a good thing is wonderful." 🥳
Rachel Brooks63 said:Have you ever eaten them while they're still piping hot—just straight off the grill?

Oh, please... 🤮 🤮 🤮

I’m telling you, no amount of whiskey or cheap bourbon could ever induce the kind of stomach rebellion I experienced after devouring a plate of scorching hot pork cracklings with some crusty bread (and yes, this was maybe 15 or 20 years ago, but the memory remains vivid!)

It’s exactly like when you can’t stop snacking on warm, buttery pecans or walnuts... you just keep going because they're absolutely divine, and then suddenly—bam!—five minutes later, you’re feeling absolutely terrible.
casualnomad42 said:Look, kid—I’m really not looking to dive into the weeds here or get into some petty back-and-forth with you—but I genuinely have to wonder: WHO ARE YOU to be questioning something formulated by a Nobel Prize winner??? 😕

The issue isn't about who came up with what; it's simply that you clearly don't have a clue. dustycanyon6 is trying to tell you nicely that your translation is off. And honestly, if you can't even get the translation right, how on earth are you supposed to grasp the actual meaning of the text?...

The stuff you're championing on this forum? It's NOT food.

Thanks for putting me in such "distinguished" company. I'll be sure to take note of that.
casualnomad42 said:You’re incredibly sharp... 😁

But wait—does what YOU say actually matter??? 😉 😁

a) I certainly am. 🙂

b) Yes. 🙂
banderas said:It’s honestly a bit tragic—and frankly, quite embarrassing—that the guy promoting "his" own products ends up looking significantly sharper than the people trying to take him down, at least based on this specific thread. I mean, these comments are just... well, you know... 😵

We are losing steam here, truly. It feels like every other day someone pops up under a brand-new handle just to spout the exact same nonsense. As for the quality of the arguments? Look, if Mchummermayo doesn't even grasp the basics of what arginine actually is, then of course he's going to stumble over the spelling—writing "arginin" one second and "arginine" the next! To anyone who actually understands the science, those little slips immediately flag his supposed level of "expertise."

As Sarah Gomez52 would say, the real issue here isn't what is being said, but rather who is doing the talking.

Actually, just outside of Washington, D.C., there’s this incredible estate that follows strict biodynamic farming principles—it’s all very holistic and fascinating! If I can track down the website, I’ll be sure to post the link here for everyone.
Honestly, just let Betty Hill82 be, she's a little aggressive.

Back when I was living in Germany, I actually carried a donor card—and look, if I ever decide to finally settle down somewhere permanent (if that even happens 😁), I’ll make sure to request that they relieve me of any extra organs. Once I kick the bucket, I certainly won't have any use for them.

polly said:They have the same kind of discount stores here in the States as they do over there—it's just that the prices tend to be a bit lower across the pond.
If I recall correctly, the name of one of them is Aldi.

Well, actually, there are quite a few different manufacturers out there offering similar stuff!

It’s way, way cheaper over there.

I used to pick mine up at a CVS in Germany, so maybe check out our local pharmacies here too! Just look for the boxes labeled Salmon oil. 😉 I can't quite recall the specific brand name off the top of my head, but I'd bet anything the quality of those capsules is pretty much identical...

But that’s exactly my point! This isn't some black-and-white issue—it’s incredibly complex—and everyone is dealing with their own unique set of reasons. Honestly, who am I to go around imposing my personal views on someone else's life?

Amy Hayes28 said:Alright, does anyone here who opposes abortion actually know what it feels like to be an unwanted child??

Well, look—I am an unwanted child myself. My parents were legally married, sure, but even then, I wasn't exactly "planned." And personally? I’m against abortion. It isn't my fault that I ended up with the parents I have! Nobody ever sat me down and asked if I wanted to exist, yet here I am. I'm living. For some reason known only to the universe, I was given a chance...

Well, color me surprised! 😁 Paying 70 bucks for a little pack of 60 aloe vera gummies? Yeah, what a steal.

Oh, please—that link is about ten times more boring than a Sunday afternoon in Nebraska. If only they actually bothered to read what was written on there...
