There's definitely a ton of it out there, I guess. Even though I'm into soccer, I still feel like the whole thing is kinda overrated compared to other sports 🙄 😳

Is your BMI over 25 (or maybe even over 30)?
Got a waist circumference larger than 34 inches (for women) or 40 inches (for guys)?
Is your waist-to-hip ratio higher than 0.85 (women) or above 0.9 (men)?
Are your triglycerides or "bad" LDL cholesterol high?
Is your "good" HDL cholesterol running low?
High blood pressure

So I started watching this thing maybe a week ago and I literally passed out mid-episode and woke up the next morning slumped over my armchair 🤣 I haven't really felt like picking it back up since...
I've had this ringing in my ears for like 7 or 8 years now. I was just a kid when it started, honestly. I went to see some doctors back then and had a few checkups done, but everything came back totally fine, so I haven't really given it much thought since. It doesn't even bother me that much anymore, I guess. 🤷 Though, I did happen to read something in a magazine recently about it, and apparently, a ton of people deal with this stuff too...
Aaron Lopez43 said:So here's the deal. I dropped about 50 pounds in just over two months. Now I'm sitting at 170 lbs and I'm 6'1"... so according to the charts, I guess I'm at an ideal weight. But, before the diet, I had this gut hanging out... and honestly, it's still there... even though it's way less than before. Based on my actual weight, I don't think it's fat anymore, maybe just loose skin... Question is... can you tighten that up with exercises, and if so, which ones? Ideally, I need stuff for the lower abs, because I've been hammering crunches for a while now—like 400 a day—but I'm only seeing progress on my upper abs.
Thanks.
Man, did you seriously think you’d go from 220 lbs to a shredded physique in two months just by dieting? I mean, maybe you didn't realize how that works. Personally, I don't think you should have just starved it off; you should've done cardio, eaten right, and stayed hydrated... though I guess that's still solid advice even now... and you could probably hit up a local Planet Fitness or something, right?
Rebecca Richardson86 said:Hey guys, can someone please point me toward a good private specialist? I’m looking to book an appointment with someone—doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl—to deal with this acne situation on my face. It's driving me nuts. My skin either gets super oily or just feels completely stripped and dry, and then it starts peeling... honestly, it's just gross. So, my dear friend is dealing with some dandruff issues—specifically seborrheic dermatitis (did I even spell that right? I guess?). I mean, if we could just get the right therapy and finally be done with this whole thing forever... maybe. I guess.🙂
So, I wrote this out for you... I've actually gone to see him a few times myself and, I don't know, he seems like an okay guy, I guess. 😉
ironsurfer10 said:so... I need to see a dermatologist. I've never actually gone before, so I'm wondering if anyone knows a GOOD one in Chicago? And by good, I mean someone who isn't just gonna rush me out the door after listening to half of what I have to say... I've had some doctors do that to me before and I really don't want a repeat performance. So if anyone has a recommendation... oh, and I have a referral from my insurance, so I'm not looking for a private clinic... thanks 😉
John Doe 😉
just saw the part about not being private, so yeah, never mind then..
I’m being dead serious here, even if I sound like a total nutcase... It’s honestly driving me up the wall. I’m not sick, I don't have a cold or anything, my nose just won't stop itching 😳
It’s not like some huge deal or anything, but my nose has been itching like crazy for about a week now, and obviously, it keeps making me sneeze... I don't know, what am I even supposed to do? 🤷
So, I grabbed this Silent Hill DVDrip from a torrent because I was bored out of my mind... I pulled some subtitles off a site, tried running the movie in DivXu (Pro 6.7), and now I’m totally lost on how to actually get them to show up. 🙄 I haven't really messed with DivX before, so I guess I don't even know what kind of file format it's looking for, since this is just a regular video clip...
Look, I know this sounds super dumb and basic, but I really don't feel like digging through the settings on this DivXu thing since I've never even touched it before. So, can someone just tell me how to actually get these .srt subtitles to show up in the movie? Because whenever I play the file and try to right-click, that subtitle tracks option is just grayed out and totally useless 🤷
Ethan Garcia8 said:What I use at my gym: free weights (barbells, dumbbells), a power rack, a bench, a pull-up/dip station, and a stability ball. That’s everything I need from a commercial gym, and honestly, it’s all you really need for a home setup. The only thing is, a good power rack is pretty pricey, and those Olympic bars aren't cheap either.
👍
I guess our goals are kind of different though, since massive muscle mass isn't my main thing and I'm not really into bodybuilding. I just want to build a spot where I can get a daily workout in to shape my physique faster and keep it that way. Maybe down the road, I'll add more gear as I can afford it...
That's why I'm asking for advice. I don't want to screw myself over by getting some crappy machine, or buying stuff I'll never use, or just straight up overpaying for junk...
So if any of you guys have built something similar or actually know what you're doing in this area, please let me know. 😁
interesting, I guess, but honestly I just don't feel like driving all the way out to Seattle for that... just sticking to the local area for now, maybe somewhere nearby if things change later...
lonecobra58 said:go for it, but you’ll probably regret it after a few weeks when you lose all motivation because you're missing weights or specific machines. trust me, a real gym is worth more when you look at the big picture
I'm definitely not gonna lose my motivation, and like I said, it's impossible to do this long-term anyway, plus I'm not planning on relying solely on that gym, so if I end up needing stuff, I can always find it elsewhere😉
