My cholesterol levels are up. I heard that even Walmart might be a decent option if you're sticking to a strict diet. Anyone have any experience with their selection?
p.s. I hit three different stores today, including two supermarkets. No luck finding a Walmart. 😕
Has anyone here actually used Lululemon hormone replacement therapy? My mom (52) has been on them for about six months now after her gynecologist suggested it for menopause—apparently, she should have started much sooner.
The issue is the fine print. The warning labels mention an increased risk of breast cancer, and even her primary care physician advised against it because of those exact risks. Meanwhile, the gynecologist claims she’d be taking them herself if she were going through menopause. I think I even saw a feature about this controversy in The New York Times once...
There’s no history of cancer in our family.
She does deal with osteoarthritis and osteopenia (moving toward osteoporosis), and she had some thyroid issues in the past that have since cleared up. On the plus side, the hot flashes and headaches stopped once she started the Lululemon tablets.
I’m about to go down a Google rabbit hole, but I’d appreciate any real insight from people here. Thanks.
Clear spray paint? Where am I even supposed to find that? At a hardware store or something? Because I really don't want to try fixing a belt buckle with nail polish.
I've mostly just dealt with the issue by wearing my belt sideways. 😁
It wasn't my call. I just read somewhere that the individual who blew the whistle on the doctor was granted some kind of whistleblower protection. Apparently, the same will apply to anyone else stepping forward now.
Would you report someone if they asked you for a bribe?
Looking at this from the outside—thankfully, I’ve never been in that spot myself—it's complicated. In the end, the father of the woman reporting the surgeon is about to undergo surgery, and she just "saved" $5,000. And most importantly, someone might finally be held accountable (fingers crossed).
Hmm... just scheduled my routine checkup with the OB-GYN. Then it hit me—it’s the exact day before my period starts. Does that actually matter for the exam?
When I got my first pair of glasses, there was this weird "shallow-to-deep" sensation for the first day or two. Like everything was out of focus before finally snapping into place. Once that passed, it was perfect. Later, when I switched to a different frame using the same prescription, there wasn't even an issue..
