Don't wash your hair during your period?!? WTF in Women's Health ·
It isn't just about avoiding hair washing during your period; you also have to hold off during ovulation. And let's be clear—that includes the entire fertile window as well.

It’s sad what you said about the administration, but honestly, the government is just fundamentally corrupt. Politicians act like they built and defended this country, when the real heroes were YOU—our heroes who stood on the front lines 24/7 just so the rest of us could live our lives.
I was just a kid during the war, but whenever I saw a soldier, my heart would swell. I saw true role models in you all back then; you were our pride.
It’s heartbreaking to see how veterans are being treated today. People who truly deserve care and a pension are being pushed aside by the "sons of the elite" who got everything handed to them through connections without ever seeing combat.
I hope this corrupt leadership eventually comes to an end, and that honest, decent people finally lead America. I’m an optimist, so I suppose we just need to be patient...

I’m speechless. I sign off on every single word here. Kudos to you for your perspective and for speaking out.
Feeling constantly fatigued? in Health ·
I’ve been feeling absolutely miserable for a few days now. My head is pounding like crazy, I’m dealing with these sudden bouts of shivering in the morning, and I just feel generally run down and sickly. All I want to do is sleep, but then when I actually get a chance to lie down, sleep completely eludes me. :ironijofrozenpilot2:
On top of that, I realized I’ve dropped about four or five pounds recently without even trying. It was totally unplanned, and now I just look gaunt and haggard.
I don't have a fever. I'm not pregnant. I'm not ovulating, and it isn't PMS. My diet is relatively healthy.

What can I take to give my immune system a bit of a boost?

A girl on this forum recently suggested I try some St. John's Wort tea.
Tomorrow is going to be a total disaster. D. FUJ!
Ferry to Maui in Miscellaneous ·
IBM builds their ferries specifically for Scandinavian waters, but let’s face it—the wind patterns over there are a different beast entirely, so they run into issues here. Personally, I find them perfectly fine.
To be honest, I couldn't care less about the technicalities—I just want this ferry to get me to Maui as quickly as possible.
Underarm hair removal tips? in Health ·
I dealt with those exact same issues... until I finally just switched to plucking.
If I’d realized how much easier it was sooner, I would have made the switch six years ago.
Full Moon tonight in Health ·
Bradley Barnes90 said:I’m right there with everyone else struggling to get any rest during a full moon. 😁
Some nights I can’t drift off until dawn; other times, I’m tossing and turning for hours after hitting the pillow. 🙂

Same here.
I can't sleep for anything when the full moon hits... I'll pass out like a light, only to wake up a few hours later feeling so wired I could head straight into a high-stakes meeting at Goldman Sachs and be perfectly focused.
It’s infuriating.
Shrek The Third (2007) in Movies ·
I’m honestly disappointed. There just weren't enough good jokes. When I saw the second one, it was gold—it was packed with hits. This? This felt pretty weak to me.
Production notes for 28 Weeks Later in Movies ·
😁 I was thinking about that movie the other day, but I couldn't for the life of me remember the title.
It was an incredible film—really kept me on edge... exactly how a movie should be.
Yellow Fever? in Health ·
nimbletrucker132 said:I’m dealing with some yellowing in my sclera—basically, after staring at a computer screen for long stretches, the whites of my eyes turn yellow. What should I do?
Just to be clear, my vision is fine, and I’ve already seen an ophthalmologist. I don't need glasses or a prescription change.

Maybe you just have Gilbert's syndrome. It’s incredibly common, and most people aren't even aware they have it. It's essentially a metabolic issue where certain liver enzymes aren't functioning quite right.
Zoolander in Movies ·
Dennis Bishop41 said:then he sees "magnum" and goes - "It's Beautiful", absolute legend 🙏

Top-tier comedy. Hands down. Aside from Old School, of course.
Who cares what anyone thinks? That whole crew—Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Luke & Owen Wilson—they’re a powerhouse unit making bank while just messing around on these sets. Sure, Dodgeball is decent, though personally, I think Wedding Crashers hits harder.
The characters are just too good.

My favorite part of Zoolander is that scene at the MTV Video Music Awards where they show those clips of Hansel... and then he says (purely to be polite), "I adore Sting, even if I don't listen to him; I just respect the music he creates." 🤣 🤣 🤣 classic fake politeness 😁

The film is a brilliant satire of the fashion industry, which happens to be exactly as shallow as they portray it. Also, Milla Jovovich is fantastic as Katinka.
Nipple pain in men: What's going on? in Health ·
🤣
Scott Ortiz5 said:So, here’s the deal.

I hit the pool for a quick hour swim this morning, and right toward the end, I started feeling this weird, nagging ache in my nipples. Honestly, I didn't think much of it at first—I just figured it was my chest muscles acting up since I went hard on chest day at the gym yesterday.
But man, once I got out and hopped in the shower, the pain really kicked in, and it hasn't let up all day.

Seriously, it’s not even funny. If anyone even breathed on them too hard, I think they'd knock my teeth out—and I mean that even if it were my own mother doing the squeezing. It hurts just to touch them, and even taking a deep breath feels super uncomfortable.

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this kind of thing? Any advice would be huge because I can't get to a doctor until Monday, though I'm really hoping I don't have to wait that long.

btw I'm 19.

Looks like you're growing boobs.

🤣 🤣

Ignore my comment, I just couldn't help myself.
OB/GYN Discussion Thread in Women's Health ·
I’d head straight for the sun.
Does anyone have any intel? Apparently, all the doctors available are women, which works for me.
It’s honestly baffling to me how it took seven police officers just to bring him down... seven?
And for the record, every single one of them is under investigation now.
Dealing with migraines at work in Health ·
Brandon Thomas89 said:Dealing with migraines is brutal.
I used to deal with occasional attacks myself until a few years back. I stumbled upon an article suggesting diet could be a trigger, so I started tracking my meals against my symptoms. It worked. Once I identified the specific foods causing the issues, I managed to stay migraine-free for nearly a decade. 👍

My migraines were tied directly to birth control pills. As soon as I stopped taking them, the headaches vanished.
The only other time it happened was once due to sleep deprivation and stress, but I just popped two Advil and retreated to a dark room immediately.
The Fifth Element in Movies ·
For me, the best part of the film is definitely the gadgets—especially all that gear Milla Jovovich uses. Man, if I just had that Chanel makeup kit... my life would be set.😁
The movie is pure entertainment from start to finish.
The highlight for me has to be that junk dealer ringing Bruce Willis's doorbell while wearing that spy-cam perspective headband. Absolutely brilliant. 😁😁😁
Gilbert is just a genetic quirk where a specific liver enzyme doesn't quite perform up to par. It’s no massive ordeal; the main giveaway is just that my eyes look a bit yellowish.
Morgan Cook5 said:When I was nine years old (I’m 17 now), they diagnosed me with Gilbert's syndrome. Now I'm told I have to watch my alcohol intake and cut back on carbonated drinks. The first sign was my face and especially my eyes turning yellow. I'm looking for any information you guys have—how do you manage this, how do you stay safe, etc.? Is there any specific treatment for it?

I deal with this too. It's incredibly common. My eyes get that yellowish tint, especially when I'm exhausted, staring at a screen for too long, or spending too much time out in the sun. A friend of mine who works in medicine tells me it's essentially nothing and doesn't actually harm your body. So, what's the deal with the restrictions on alcohol and soda? It feels a bit excessive.
But she did mention that a huge number of people are living with it without even realizing they have it.

Absolutely terrible. Just a complete disaster.

Personally, I think The X-Files is an excellent film.
People go in expecting some high-octane San Francisco thriller or a jump-scare horror flick, but that’s just not what this is.
There are a few tense moments—those alien sound effects were genuinely unsettling—but the core message is that everything happens for a reason. Whether it's a woman's death, a kid's asthma, or a brother's career falling apart because of his wife... it all ties together.
It’s a great movie.
It’s a shame someone decided to burn it.😠
