Look, we’ve made this point more than enough times already: we don't allow any kind of advocacy or campaigning on this board here. We aren't going to go around banning people just because they happen to be liberals, conservatives, or some other political shade of gray; it’s strictly about how you carry yourself and the way you communicate with others.
Look, this whole topic is just way too massive to tackle all at once . It’d be a huge help if someone could drop a few links, or even just a specific section detailing what actually went down .
you're kind of off base here because you went ahead and started this whole thread without actually providing any of the specific details we'd need to figure out what's even happening it’s pretty much impossible to have a productive conversation when you leave us completely in the dark like this
There was some chatter going on earlier about being locked out of both the office network and the monitors If the company policy is that you shouldn't be accessing stuff unless it's strictly for work, then honestly, that's their right to decide But here’s the thing—if a company starts blocking certain things while leaving others wide open, we aren't talking about policy anymore; we're talking about censorship, and that's something that really shouldn't be happening in a professional environment
I know exactly how this works 🙂 but if you decide to block one thing while leaving the other wide open, it really just opens up a whole new set of questions, doesn't it?
Usually, when people get hit with a block or some kind of restriction, they at least get a notification but it would be even more entertaining if the explanation was just left completely blank—like if you try to visit The New York Times and get shut down, yet somehow you can still access some other random news site without any issues
There are mods over on Psychology Every Moment, and honestly, we’ll probably have an even bigger crew stepping up soon. I trust that manages to answer your question to your satisfaction? 🙂
Look, every single thread on any given PDF usually has its fair share of high-quality stuff mixed in with the total garbage, it’s just how it works. Aside from the admins and the moderators, a massive chunk of the actual influence comes from the regular users on Reddit, specifically when they decide which topics are worth their energy and which ones they’re just going to let sink into oblivion. If a thread isn't absolutely brain-dead, honestly, you’re better off just leaving it open and letting whatever evolution happens take its course. 🙂
Those "hidden" insults aren't even remotely funny, let alone clever enough to be interesting enough to dwell on.
Regarding that specific post mentioned earlier—it’s impossible to tell who they were actually aiming at since you have to click through just to see the content.
I’m just gonna go ahead and shut this thread down right now, honestly, it’s just too much. Otherwise, I have to say, I actually agree with what someone mentioned earlier about how you could probably find enough idiots in this place to fill up half a football stadium.
So, basically, you’re saying if someone fits certain traits, they automatically belong to that group? Is that how this works? And look, I’m sorry, but trying to lump an entire massive demographic into one single label like that is nothing more than textbook racism and hate speech. It’s the same tired logic used when people claim Southerners are lazy, folks from the Midwest are dim-witted, New Yorkers are arrogant, or Black Americans are... well, whatever other garbage stereotypes people throw around to be hateful.
I honestly don't see what the point of all this public moralizing is for us Americans. As if we all have halos floating over our heads just because we exist.
