A 7.0 is actually a pretty solid rating on IMDb..

nimbleranger22 said:Like I mentioned, Spider-Man 3 was actually a pretty decent watch for me. It felt much better than the previous two installments. In my opinion, it might even be the peak of the trilogy because there is less forced sentimentality and more depth given to the characters. The villains, specifically, often feel more compelling than the heroes—think along the lines of Lex Luthor or the Joker. Plus, the ending actually carries some weight through the theme of forgiveness.

I also recall back in 2007 watching two specific movies just to hang out with my son, only to find myself genuinely impressed; I'm talking about Transformers and Spider-Man 3 (which was a solid watch and undoubtedly the best in that series).

This will likely end up being his best film yet, though that still doesn't say much.
Brenda Gray21 said:I honestly suspect that either Costner himself or someone in his inner circle had some sort of ongoing feud with the critics. To be fair, those films aren't even a step below many of the typical Hollywood hits.
gentleeagle11 said:I honestly think it's because back then, everyone was talking about how Costner was filming some kind of softcore adult movie, or something along those lines...🙂
Jerry Martin19 said:Morbid? In what way? Like "amputations, broken bones, and murders," or more like... I don't know how to put this without sounding stupid, an emotional kind of morbid?
ruggedlynx10 said:Man, that sounds intense... where on earth did you find that? Was it on a random DVD at a thrift store somewhere?
Sophia Grant39 said:The Film actually surprised me. Tense plot and solid acting. Sound effects feel a bit overdone and the ending wasn't really my style, but overall... two hours of decent entertainment.
