Look, I was actually the one who locked that Temu thread because the moderator stepped in and replied, so there wasn't really any need for more chatter. Just because you were the one who opened it doesn't mean you get to call the shots on whether it stays open or gets shut down—that's entirely up to the moderators of the specific subforum where it’s posted.
It looks like you probably just accidentally toggled off the setting to view signatures while you were messing around with your settings earlier! I went ahead and switched it back on for you, so you should be seeing everyone's signatures perfectly normally again now.
Alright, I went ahead and scaled that down for you. You’ll just need to manually drop in those font size tags before and after your signature to get it looking right. If you decide you want to tweak the color or toss in a hyperlink later on, just give me a shout! 🙂
Just a heads-up regarding signatures: everything we cover in our posting guidelines applies to your signature too. Think of your signature as an extension of your actual posts. If you’re planning on quoting another member in there, please just make sure to include a direct link to their original post right underneath the quote. Beyond that, it's business as usual—keep things respectful, don't post any private info, avoid being provocative, and please, no advertising. As for the look of it, we suggest keeping it to about one line of standard text or maybe up to three lines if you're using smaller font. Since screen resolutions vary so much these days, we don't have a strict character count, so let's just use some common sense and try not to make it visually overwhelming or massive.
If you’ve got a cool idea for a signature but aren't quite sure if it fits within the rules, feel free to reach out and ask me before you set it in stone. I'm happy to give you the green light!
Look, this goes for both of you. I’m not trying to play the role of some high-and-mighty mediator here, but let’s be real—it’s pretty obvious you two aren't exactly winning any popularity contests on this forum, and you certainly don't seem to mind letting everyone know it. I am all for a heated, passionate debate, truly, but it’s fine right up until things spiral into personal jabs and insults. So, please, just... try not to let it go down that road.

Provide rustydrifter10 with the evidence she asked for.
The truth is, you simply don't know what you're talking about—do you realize that? It’s embarrassing. Do you understand that you've completely derailed a thread of vital importance? Or that on this current Philosophy board, you're making claims that are totally irrelevant to the subject at hand? Do you grasp that your blatant ignorance—which, I sincerely hope, you aren't spreading in your professional life—is adding absolutely nothing to this community? Honestly, I feel secondhand embarrassment just reading your posts, and I'm embarrassed for anyone else who has to deal with them.

Is this some kind of joke? 🤣🤣
Look, if this is how you approach every single post, then we’ve got a serious issue on our hands. Seriously, quit the ad hominem attacks and try focusing on the actual substance of the post. If you can't manage to do that, you're better off just scrolling past.
Look, nobody is obligated to give you the time of day just because you’re giving them the cold shoulder. If someone is actually stalking you, though, you're going to need to bring a lot more than just a feeling to the table to prove it.
Look, we aren't going to play this game of being vague about "how much for this" or "how much for that." Generally speaking, if someone starts throwing insults around, they’re looking at a ban starting from 45 points and up, depending on how the moderator decides to handle it. Sometimes it might be a bit lighter, but that's entirely up to their discretion. You clearly have a specific situation in mind, but honestly, without any links or actual context to go on, I have absolutely zero intention of getting into a debate about it. And hey, unless someone specifically called you out by name, just let the person who was actually targeted be the one to file the complaint.
Keep it respectful—personal attacks aren't allowed here. A moderator might give you a pass if you're a brand-new user with zero posts on the forum, but honestly, that’s entirely up to their discretion.
Rachel Jones8, honestly, reading your posts is such an exhausting marathon, so I’m asking you please to just be brief and get to the point from now on. If your thoughts can't fit into one standard post, I’d honestly rather you didn't post anything at all instead of just layering page after page of text. As far as the complaints go, the moderator already gave you an answer, I don't have anything else to add, and the supermod can chime in if they feel it's actually necessary.
The moderator is going to step in and handle any disciplinary actions, so I’d really appreciate it if everyone could just hold off on the back-and-forth arguing for now. If anyone starts giving you a hard time or harassing you through private messages, please don't hesitate to report them immediately.
Colors should basically be used to highlight specific points or make certain parts pop from the rest of the text, or maybe for moderator warnings. They aren't meant for writing entire posts—I mean, if everyone just picked their own random color, this place would look like a coloring book designed specifically to trigger a seizure! There are a few users around here who constantly switch up their colors, but they've been doing it for ages, so the mods just kind of let it slide. Using Blue would be perfectly fine too, but again, strictly for emphasis. It’s the same deal with fonts: they’re okay as long as they stay close to the default setting, but anything else gets stripped away because it messes with the flow of reading. Same goes for having way too much visual clutter. Reddit needs to be clean and easy on the eyes, and a massive pile of different colors, weird fonts, and emoji madness doesn't help that at all. Everything should be done in moderation.
I honestly don't know where to start with this one, but I just had to jump in because my mind has been racing since I read the latest updates. You know me—I can't just sit by when things get this interesting! I was sitting here with my coffee, thinking about how much everything has changed lately, and it really hit me how much we all rely on these little pieces of stability in our lives. It’s funny, isn't it? How one small shift in the landscape can make you rethink everything you thought you knew about how things work around here in the States. Anyway, I'm just rambling now, but I wanted to share those thoughts while they were still fresh in my head! kaže: I was just wondering, when that event actually rolls around, how many mods are we realistically going to get for the PDF Alternative?
I honestly don't know. We’re out here hunting for mods, but man, it’s proving to be way harder than we anticipated. If we actually had a crew of talented people willing to put in the work to build them, we’d have everything installed and ready to go by now. But until we track down the right folks? We're just stuck waiting. Once we finally find them, we'll get everything up and running, but that’s really all there is to it—it's out of our hands for the moment.
You’re really not going to get any answers from us. I see you've already reported those posts, and they’ve been moderated. If it happens again, just keep reporting them; we'll step in as long as there's a legitimate reason to act. As for who we were actually looking into and what we found out during that process—that information stays strictly within the administration.
