If this movie is supposedly "criminally bad," then how the hell does it have a 7.3 on IMDb? Seriously... from everything I’ve been reading on critic sites, it doesn't sound nearly as disastrous as you guys are making it out to be. Look, obviously it isn't going to top that classic with Kevin Costner, but I wasn't exactly expecting it to... I'm still gonna sit down and watch it anyway, then I'll give you my actual take.
It’s a brutal call if you’re looking at just the first movie or those early entries in these series, because honestly, almost all of them hit the mark for me. But man, if we start talking about those endless sequels that just go on forever... there is way too much to say there, both good and bad. Taking the whole franchise into account though, the absolute best and most fun one in my book has to be 👍A Nightmare on Elm Street .
That scene was just too much... when Tony starts going on about how people are always asking him how he manages to pee while wearing a suit, and then he actually shows 😂🤣 ...
Caught a movie at the cinema today and man... what can I even say? Hmm. For the first two-thirds, the thing was actually solid. It was a fun ride, the plot kept me hooked, and they nailed those action sequences... really great stuff. Robert Downey Jr. is still an absolute legend in his role, and honestly, Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell were both killing it too. But then comes the part that really let me down. The ending felt incredibly rushed. The final showdown lasted maybe thirty seconds if you're lucky, and the whole resolution just felt slapped together. That’s the one thing they really dropped the ball on, but still... in my book, it’s definitely worth a watch.
The movie would’ve been decent if they hadn't completely botched the ending. If everything is supposed to be wrapped up, then why the hell is the phone still ringing? It makes zero sense. They only threw that in there just so they could greenlight a sequel...
Cox, I still can't get that scene from Ace Ventura out of my head... you know, the one where Jim Carrey is going at it on the bed and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" starts playing in the background 😂🤣
If a movie like Sex and the City actually managed to pull numbers—even though if you ask me, that whole thing was total garbage and I couldn't even bring myself to sit through the film—then I honestly think Friends, which was a genuinely brilliant series, will 😁
I just sat through it, and honestly? It wasn't anything special. I was expecting way more, especially given it’s the old Mel... maybe worth a single watch if you're bored, I guess...

He said everyone went absolutely wild singing along—totally lost in the moment—yet somehow, nobody even seemed to notice him, despite him being one of the lead actors. Personally, I wouldn't even rank that song in my top five. And honestly, I don't get why everyone is tearing into Armin. I actually thought his performance was pretty good...
But what can we say about Igor Gal? He was the lead in that film, and now I hardly ever see him acting. I remember him having a small part in that American movie Cross of Iron alongside James Coburn...

I'm with you there. For me, that might actually be the best movie produced stateside. Most of them are just total garbage...

And yet, I’m sitting here stunned that there are people out there absolutely trashing it—especially those calling it "boring." It isn't boring. Not for a single second. It’s a tense, gripping thriller with an actual plot. Sure, maybe there's a bit of naivety in some parts, if you want to call it that, but hey... when you're dealing with a fractured mind after a trauma like that, anything is possible. As for the ending? People are gonna have their opinions, I guess. I personally wish it had gone a different way because I was rooting for Butler the entire time, while Foxx was just incredibly irritating to watch...
Max Payne, without a doubt. Total garbage, honestly. They had such an incredible game to work with, they could've actually made a decent movie, but they blew it. And don't even get me started on the rest of that list: Resident Evil, The Mummy Returns, Ghost Rider, Gamer, Blade: Trinity...
Paul Ross12 said:Exactly. Between gamer and Pandora, I've had my fill of "WTF" movies for the year.
Look, Pandora is actually a great flick, but Gamer... man, they seriously dropped the ball there. Given the subject matter, they could have done so much better, but I guess it's still worth a watch if you have nothing else to do...
Boris The Blade, for sure, hahaha 🙏. If we're talking standout roles, I’d have to point out his turn as the main villain in Saint and one of those bad guys back in season six of my favorite show, 24 😁. And from what I hear, he’ll probably show up in the new Harry Potter too. Most of the time he just grabs these smaller parts, but I totally agree—he’s definitely made a much bigger splash than Višnjić ever did... All in all, I really hope we keep seeing him on screen 😁
Man, that scene in Evil Dead II where Ash's severed hand just bolts away from him and flips him the bird... absolutely legendary. Hahaha, I can't get over it. 😁
I've lost count of how many times I’ve sat through the first movie—it's an absolute masterpiece—but man, the sequel was such a massive letdown. I'm really hoping they actually bring something decent to the table with this new installment 😁
