Laziness can actually be a survival skill because you aren’t constantly terrified of starving. You need food for your entire life; everything else is just temporary noise.
People don't all have the same internal drive, so you can't force everyone to be lazy. This obsession with molding kids to fit a specific mold is just bad parenting. It happens when you fail to recognize what a child is actually capable of doing.
It works perfectly in capitalist societies, though. You raise people to just follow orders... nobody understands the bigger picture. It's like our professors know nothing beyond their own families and their day jobs.
Listen, they’ll try to force a lefty to write with their right hand just because they want everyone to have the same handwriting. Isn't that exactly like mass-producing those perfect red apples just to put them on grocery store shelves?
There’s zero creativity left in that system. It’s a generation of products. Everyone goes to the same parties, everyone wears Nike... kids buy the same songs as everyone else because they’re just following the charts. If they actually listened to something different, people might actually find some substance.
If you want to survive, being lazy is a great strategy—but only if you actually have the drive to make it work. Otherwise, you're going to be scavenging just to get by... either digging through the trash or selling someone some mediocre lyrics just to afford a meal.
"Money gives you a sense of freedom, and that’s the bottom line. You actually have time for your own interests and hobbies instead of just grinding like a slave to pay off bills and buy groceries without ever being the boss of your own schedule. You’re basically working for someone else just to stay afloat. Obviously, we live in a materialistic society and cash is necessary, but personally, I’d abolish it. I think everyone would be a lot happier. Unfortunately, that's just a pipe dream."
Jupiterian symbolism says otherwise
And this stuff is thousands of years old. So please, spare me all this philosophy talk. Where exactly have you guys been when it comes to actual philosophy?
And what exactly would you abolish? Just the fact that you weren't born under Jupiter's sign?🙂
Think about a family with a father, a mother, and four sons.
Based on what model are you all assuming all four of those boys are going to turn out exactly like their old man?
In reality, you’re always going to see one son rise to the top and another one become the black sheep. Usually, this just drives the father to be even more controlling... and the high achiever ends up being the closest to him, while the troublemaker becomes his primary rival.
That’s essentially how every single workplace dynamic forms itself. Of course, the "father figure" can play a lot of different roles beyond just being possessive.
Jack Smith5 said:Sure, they can, but it’s not like they’ve actually woken up and realized "it" exists within them. Everyone carries this latent inner strength. It’s a bit like how people say anyone is capable of violence if pushed far enough—it's just as true that any individual is capable of stepping up and taking real initiative when the moment hits.
All the psychology, philosophy, and other academic nonsense in the world won't override fundamental forces. Those forces are what actually shape a person... end of story.
Jack Smith5 said:Look, I’m not saying everyone needs to go out and gamble their life savings on a meme stock, but you can't just spend your entire existence playing follow-the-leader. You have to take some kind of initiative and actually drive your own life instead of just being a passenger. They can.
Actually, they can't. That’s exactly what I meant.
They’re just part of the machine—the stronger, more powerful side will always be there, and they'll always be part of it.
Carl Rivera43 said:1. Is that why top achievers keep their real strategies under wraps, only feeding the public those generic "copy-paste" tips from self-help books and articles?
2. Has corruption become normalized because of the "quid pro quo" system, especially in emerging American democracies?
3. How long does it take for the mindset to shift toward: "If you don't take risks, you don't see the rewards"?
4. Is this all just an ingrained "kiss-up culture," and why is that actually seen as a good thing?
Honestly, these questions you're throwing at me are total nonsense.
1. Nobody even defines success. Success is just a natural phenomenon. Any "strategy" for it is just observing how nature works. Success is simply attracting a massive swarm of easy, floating organisms that eventually just become part of you.
2. That part of the strategy is perfectly logical. The sentence itself explains everything. It’s just transactional—I give this to you, you give that to me, and I get what I want. There’s no complex politics involved.
3. Not everyone can take risks because they aren't wired to be progressive. They're just part of the herd.
4. This is just an effect of the modern era and living in a cage. You can domesticate a wild animal, and humans have been domesticated for centuries. All they know how to do is suck up to someone and ask for handouts. They don't know anything else—just pure laziness and entitlement.
Look, successful people who aren't busy dealing with petty nonsense don't have the time to go digging through everyone else's business
Meanwhile, you’ve got these scavengers acting like self-appointed detectives, constantly trying to pick at everyone else. It’s obvious they can’t accomplish anything on their own, so they just poke around at others. "Oh, this guy's a mastermind criminal, look at his outfit." "He clearly hasn't read a book in his life; he's an idiot." "This guy is definitely a high-level dealer." "Yeah, he's 100% insane..."
Regarding your point. Nowadays, everyone is just performing inside a cage—laws, social etiquette, all that. Anyone with actual backbone refuses to stick their head out. If they did, they’d instantly become a laughingstock. Even if someone actually manages to make a positive impact on the scene, everything gets pinned on them; they're the ones expected to carry the weight. But if they move in any other direction? Everyone just tramples them
People are just generic sheep... following one another blindly. Whatever comes out of the backside of the person in front of you goes straight into your mouth. Then it comes out of your backside and into the next person's... just a massive cycle of crap.
Carl Rivera43 said:Honestly, some people just do the most mind-bogglingly stupid things. You have millions of folks all over the world dealing with actual starvation and living in tiny, crumbling shacks, yet somewhere else, they’re just tearing down entire buildings for no reason at all. It feels incredibly heartless, doesn't it?
then you clearly haven't stepped foot in a single nightclub in the last decade.
I’m out there every single day, night and day, so I know exactly what we're talking about.
What I don't understand is people who constantly try to correct me based on their own narrow little perspectives—perspectives I couldn't care less about.
I honestly have no idea what kind of help you're looking for until you actually say it. Everything can be boiled down to a single elevator pitch if you try hard enough.
It’s like this: if there are eight of us in a room, you’re the guy who wants that blonde girl, even though you haven't even spoken to her yet. And you’re also the one who’s going to be pissed if someone else makes a move first.
So, start thinking. You know exactly what you want; you just need to stop running in circles.
I find myself drawn to these threads because I see everyone struggling lately. It’s a chain reaction—one person's misery pulls the next person down. People will do absolutely anything to hit their target. We’re all mission-driven. And equally predatory.
Life keeps moving, but the moment you spot something you want, you fixate. You pour your entire mind into getting it—whether it’s a new Ford, the latest iPhone, or "that" certain thing.
And that’s exactly where the suffering starts.
You want a job, but you bombed the interview. You’re studying for an exam, and some idiot professor fails you. You want cash, but some jerk refuses to lend you a dime.
Then there are the physical obstacles. You see a mountain in your way, so you decide to tunnel straight through it.
But among us humans, the only things getting in your way are other people. If it were up to me, I’d take them out with an arrow one by one. Personally, I find the era of kings much more intuitive. Back then, if you said the wrong thing, they’d just take your head off. There was a natural order to things.
Today, we’re all supposedly equal, which really just means we all suffer mentally.
Someone mentioned in a previous post that bosses today actually have to work to keep their positions because it's so easy to get fired. They're basically living in a flock of sheep. Bosses used to be actual leaders; now, they have to treat the sheep as equals.
And if you caught my drift...
You are essentially a boss within your own mind. And you have this unfinished mission stuck in your head that torments you and slowly kills you, simply because you repeat it every day without ever actually achieving it.
You’ve hit a wall.
There isn't a single person on this planet who hasn't hit a wall at some point.
The difference is that some people are great at faking it, or they’re just spineless enough to bounce back and act like nothing happened. They have no backbone, yet they thrive in today's world. The brown-nosers, the cops, the security guards, the secretaries... those types.
If you’re an eccentric individual in this day and age, you’re in trouble. The sheep have taken over the smart roles. Every high-level position is filled by sheep who can't stand predators or anyone with an eccentric edge.
It’s always obvious who the smart person in a discussion is, and it’s just as obvious who’s going to try to screw them over and who’s going to team up with the losers.
Does anyone here actually get what "politeness" means?
It’s basically just people being afraid of their own potential.
Because if we’re strictly following the rules of politeness, then everything on the table counts—including every mindless thing some idiot types out. It's like, "Oh, wow, thanks for sharing, you wrote that so beautifully." Then someone posts a photo on Facebook where they look like a total mess, and everyone goes, "Oh man, so cool, you're such an icon..." That's how social interaction works these days. I see tons of these programmed fakes everywhere... but I guess it's the only way to avoid carrying the weight of being rejected, weird, or hateful. Or so they think.
The second you decide to push back, the drama starts. And fixing that drama requires a massive amount of energy—the kind of energy that can cost you your career, your relationships, or honestly, pretty much everything else.
Look, I don't see the kind of reasoning you're doing in about 70 percent of the people I run into. From toddlers to retirees, most people are just impractical units drifting through life without any real sense of purpose...
First off, welcome to the club of people who just don't get you. They don't get you because they're generic. It's much easier to jump to the first step than to climb to the tenth. Being generic is a natural phenomenon—just like how everyone loves a standard cheeseburger or listens to the same Top 40 radio stations. And I'm not talking about just "uncultured" types, because plenty of people listen to indie music—and honestly, that can be just as generic and mindless.
When you show up in front of them with a revolutionary mindset, they simply can't wrap their heads around it. Maybe in 50 years they'll finally understand, but by then, they won't even realize someone already told them everything ages ago.
But let's get back to the concept of the generic mind.
NO, don't bother explaining anything to them. They won't grasp it. Just cut your losses and say: "That's just how it is, sis."
Either find someone who doesn't know any better and build something bigger, or stop wasting your energy trying to explain things to people who lack the vision to even see what you're talking about. They just don't look that far ahead.
Intelligence has zero correlation with success in life. Some of the biggest slackers and uncreative types end up as millionaires simply because they feed off and lean on those massive, generic social networks.
Draw a line in the sand while you're still young. Turn off that progressive instinct and play the hand you've been dealt: if you push too hard, you lose friends. Try to play the game so you aren't labeled as "crazy" or "negative." You've already seen that the non-visionaries will just cancel you. It’s obvious. None of those losers are going to hang out with someone who might ruin their reputation. It's like those crowds of anonymous trolls who act one way online but are completely different in real life—smiling to your face while being incredibly narrow-minded behind your back.
Same goes for anything you get involved in; you have to be able to back it up later. So, never give an inch.
If you’re actually brave enough to stand out, then real success comes in the form of public visibility. The larger the crowd you gather around you, the more power you have. Even if you're attracting a negative audience, you're still winning. Their obsession with studying you just translates to more clicks for you.
You crammed two different topics into one post here.
Then there’s the guy who doesn't have much going for him. Even someone slightly above his level is clearly superior. That type of person was obviously born without an ego. They’ll smile at anyone... I’ve seen people like that, and they always sleep soundly at night. Details don't bother them. They get along with everyone and never go looking for a fight.
The rest of them? Those guys who actually fought for something? They’ve probably been in a scrap at least a thousand times in their lives—whether it was physical or just verbal sparring. That first guy might be happy once he finally hits his goal, but until then, he’s constantly obsessing over how to get there, whether he takes the long way around or goes straight for it. Until he succeeds, he’s either pissed off or acting lazy, pretending to be "tough." You see this kind of behavior all over the US. First off, we have that territorial instinct—my land, my girl... it's been ingrained in us forever. Add in a lack of success to the mix, and you end up with a jerk on every street corner.
Similarly, this second guy will start chasing the next win immediately after hitting his first one, whether he realizes he's doing it or not.
Everyone loves feeling fulfilled. But happiness doesn't come from the outside; true fulfillment usually comes from the people surrounding you. That’s why I recommend anyone who feels trapped in a cage to get out of that house and find a path where they can truly express themselves.
If you want to get all astrological about it, if your father is a Saturnian and you're a Sun type, while your brother is a Jovian... basically, luck is bursting out of the brother, the Sun is trying to shine, but Saturn keeps dragging him down. Get out of that house.
The perfect match for that enlightened consciousness of yours is probably just some heavy metal to blast in the car
Finding a decent girl is easy when you're sixteen. You aren't picky, and by default, there’s always someone hanging around. Sure, you still need a bit of luck, but at thirty-six? Not so much. Unless you haven't put any work into yourself and you're just looking for someone to take the edge off—which, honestly, is how I feel sometimes. I talk to plenty of women, but I always seem to attract the exact opposite of what actually works for me. Age gaps, lifestyle differences, all that stuff...
It’s the same story with everything else; I’ll have a great run with something, and then it just vanishes. Maybe if things had been more consistent, they wouldn't have disappeared, but there's no safety net. You just have to keep searching. And since I know that "searching" is really just a measure of how well you use your little tricks, I figure you can find plenty of women if you just lean into the social circles and systems available to you. But don't hold your breath for anything meaningful.
Pros and cons? In our century, there’s this rigid way people try to label what’s "good" versus what’s "bad." Personally, I don't always categorize certain things as negative, just so we're clear on where I stand. Most people, though, will insist on calling them negative regardless.
So really, it's just a matter of how you define things based on whatever helps you survive the day.
I'm sure you'd prefer to stack up as many "positive impacts" as possible. It’s like adding one brick after another; eventually, you've got a bigger wall.
You’re right, you finally get what this struggle is all about. But honestly, most of the nobodies on these forums haven't reached that level of awareness yet. Give them maybe another 30 grams of something and then they might actually start to understand.
