Donna Cooper98 said:Why the red card? She didn't even start a whole new thread, she just had a question about her periodHERE which isn't against the rules regarding red cards.🤷 She was asking if it's possible for a period to just skip entirely. Sure, she mentioned birth control pills, but they were directly related to her main concern. A yellow card or a simple warning would have been plenty, rather than jumping straight to a red.
The topic was open, but I merged them because she opened two separate threads instead of just one, and did it all within a few hours on the same day.☕ Lucky for you, you don't see half of what goes on behind the scenes, otherwise we moderators wouldn't look like such total villains. When she posted the first time, > handled it professionally by merging it without making a scene. But when she made the exact same mistake again later that same day... how much grace am I supposed to give? If you take a look at her profile, you'll see that two of her identical posts have already been merged into existing threads.🙂
You’re holding a red card right now because you're clearly confused. While you've got it, do me a favor and actually read the section marked 'MANDATORY'—it's essential reading for everyone using this PDF.
Secondly, I’m really hoping they’re just as clear as mine were. That wasn't an issue for me at all, aside from the fact that they were pretty tender to the touch until they finally subsided.
I actually just got my hands on those wipes while I was at Cilest; I had stepped out for some other business, and they were gone instantly. It might be a better idea to check in with your OB-GYN just to rule anything else out.
That sounds like a tiny cyst. I actually had two of them once that just cleared up on their own. My doctor explained that sometimes cysts can "activate" if your hormones decide to go rogue for a bit. I have no idea how much scientific truth there is to that, but they just vanished without any intervention.

Is there any absolute certainty that it's bad for kids? I'm asking because I have a friend whose little ones are supposedly allergic to cow's milk, even though they never had any issues when they were at my house. Now she's feeding them soy milk since she heard that's fine, along with rice milk.
Hehe, honestly, I think it’s much better that you’re comfortable in your own skin. It beats working with those girls who act like they're constantly fighting against their own bodies—trying to squeeze into a size zero just to fit into some trendy top or jeans. If they actually did that, all those "curves" would be spilling out over the fabric anyway!
I don't really have that "issue" myself (though I wouldn't necessarily label things like that a problem to begin with), but I have to admit, reading through these comments has me absolutely cracking up. You guys are completely wild!👍

I can't really weigh in since I don't live in the States, but I just wanted to say how kind it is of you to offer her such steady support; she’s facing an incredibly heavy decision right now. Since none of us truly know the specifics of her home life or what she's going through behind closed doors, I won't play philosopher here. However, speaking as a parent of a daughter entering puberty, I find it hard to wrap my head around not being there for her "no matter what"—even in the face of an unplanned pregnancy. No matter how much my own parents used to yell or make threats, at the end of the day, we always stood by our kids, or at least 99% of us did. In any case, I really hope everything works out and that she reaches the right decision.

If you ever spot some Tampax, definitely grab a pack. I’ve tried just about every brand under the sun while traveling, but I have to be completely honest—OB is hands down the worst I've ever used. They are stiff, lack flexibility, and are just plain uncomfortable to wear; and it's not like I'm a novice or anything. I've been using tampons for nearly 15 years, but next time I head out on a trip across the US, I'm making sure to pack my own Tampax.
Amanda Alvarez35 said:I spotted some Tampax somewhere, though I can't quite recall the exact spot.🤷
Please let me know if you remember where! It’s such a hassle because whenever I'm visiting family back home, I need supplies, and the selection at the local county hospital is absolutely abysmal—I am never shopping there again.
Angela Morales said:Does anyone know if they carry Tampax at Rite Aid?
🙏
If they have it, I’m going to be so relieved. I’ve had such a miserable summer dealing with those generic brands from CVS—honestly, I almost threw the whole box in the trash because they were so uncomfortable. It's like the manufacturers didn't even test them themselves! I’ve grown quite accustomed to high-quality products like Tampax, and I just can't go back to that level of discomfort.😁
Don't overthink things when you see your OB-GYN. While this community is an incredible resource for advice and solidarity, nothing can ever replace the expertise of a medical professional. Let me know how everything went; I'm rooting for you and hoping for the best.
