Am I the weird one? in Psychology ·
Fine, be an outlier. I was an outlier too. It used to eat at me when I was your age, before I finally realized that being different is better than being one of those millions of mediocre souls drifting through tiny, unfulfilled lives on this planet. ...But you? You honestly come across as robotic. Zero passion. Just nothing.
YOU DON'T EVEN LISTEN TO MUSIC!!!
What actually moves your soul, besides some obsession with order and rigid discipline? I knew a guy back in high school who’s been spiraling into deep depression for years because of it ...
He finally realized there’s no spark, no drive, nothing to pull him out of his programmed existence and into a life of actual freedom and ease. He woke up to how spiritually bankrupt he really was!

Get a grip, man... the world is waiting out there!

My money is on those being cylinders.👍

Hold on, hold on. I haven't even admitted there's a problem yet... I'm still fully in control. 😬

Google 🙂
Every single one of King’s books is basically a movie script waiting to happen, and honestly? They almost always turn out great.
If you ask me, that’s the bottom line... those films actually beat his books in my book!
Phobias in Health ·
What's that word... I’m not trying to mock you. Truly. I know plenty of people dealing with similar issues—I've got enough phobia specialists in my circle to fill a stadium—but damn, I am genuinely curious.
Which word is it? 🙂
Thank God I didn't fall asleep, or my brain would have completely short-circuited trying to figure out what that word was. 🙂

I’ve heard all about those clinic waiting rooms too... women are generally way more high-maintenance. Honestly, I felt bad enough just working a light shift over someone, and I know for a fact it would have rubbed me the wrong way if I were in their shoes.
But look, it’s simple. Some people just want to get in and out. They spend thirty minutes or even an hour stuck there, and they just want to wrap things up so they can go home, hang out, mess around, or—God forbid—actually study for an exam.

I remember this one guy who sat in the waiting room for an hour just to deal with some minor issue, then walked out and actually said "thank you."
Unbelievable!
Anyway, man, regarding this blog of yours 🙂
By the way, you can listen through headphones while you sleep, provided you kill the bass entirely.

Some people get used to it, others don't. It’s not an all-or-nothing thing. Just don't blast it—keep the volume down. 😉

Bioptron: My thoughts and experiences in Health ·
Michael Anderson10 said:It seems pretty foolish to me, honestly. As far as I can tell, Bioptron only works where it is applied—meaning the skin. A Bioptron isn't going to shine a light on a uterus, WTF.

I don't know. Based on everything I picked up back in school, polarized light penetrates the entire organism.

Well, you’re just as clueless for believing that...
when you end up with absolute garbage like this.
It reminds me of when I was working on that one film starring Eddie Murphy—you know, the one with the babysitter bullshit.

Imagine getting five or six copies delivered on a Saturday and having your boss tell you that you have to move them that very night.
Anyone asking for a comedy recommendation? You have to lie through your teeth and swear it's some riotous, gut-busting masterpiece just because your manager ordered you to clear the shelf.
That’s actually why I got fired. It was written all over my face; I couldn't even hide the fact that I was lying anymore.
And it was always those small-minded idiots looking for recommendations.
I’d suggest a decent movie, and they’d complain it was too heavy, claiming they just wanted to relax. Then they’d demand something like *Fast & Furious*—just pure, mindless action and adrenaline.
Heh. That’s why I got replaced by someone who just stands there blinking innocently like a lamb before the slaughter.
Blink, blink.

And honestly, if people who actually worked at a Blockbuster could talk about how stupid some of these members are...
you could write a book. A Bible, even.

By the way, in the last four years, I can count the number of decent comedies on one hand, and I don't think a single American one made the list.
It bothers me that quality humor isn't being made anymore. Now, it's all about the DVD cover art—designed specifically to target a certain demographic. So yeah, you're just letting anything slide, too.😎
Thoughts on glasses and lenses? in Health ·
In Washington, D.C., you’ve got the frame for about $300. Then you have to factor in the plastic instead of glass
. It's all because of the drilling process—so yeah, that price is looking like 1100-$433

What were you eating, some kind of poppy seed stash? :P
Honestly, I thought part one was a mess... and maybe I finally figured out why. According to Bill Hicks’ whole revelation bit... they cut all those intense lesbian scenes because the test audiences found them absolutely revolting. So, they just filled the gaps with mindless dialogue and that irritating Michael Douglas character.

I mean, what do you expect when they head to San Francisco to test a movie about lesbian passion? 😬
Raw passion here. No ego-driven lead actor hogging 70% of the screen time; just a pure focus on the erotic tension.
Between Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba... it’s a solid story, though maybe not deep enough to keep certain themes front and center. 😉
Struggling to sleep? Any tips? in Health ·
Henry Mitchell2 said:Good grief, I deal with those bizarre jerks myself. It pulls me right out of sleep, too—has been happening for quite some time now. I can't exactly offer much comfort via medication 🙂, unfortunately; I’ve simply learned to live with it. I drift off, feel that sudden twitch (like a strange vibration in the head, right?), lie there for a bit, and then fall back under. It rarely happens more than once a night, so I don't let it get to me too much.
I find that certain meditative techniques help me settle down and fall asleep faster. As for stress, it really has nothing to do with it...

I have the exact same issue. I'd describe it as nothing less than a short circuit... 😕
Hepatitis B vaccination info/discussion in Health ·
Maybe the crew over at LDS 😬
Hepatitis B vaccination info/discussion in Health ·
So, I went to my doctor to get a referral for a titer test to check my vaccine antibody levels... did the whole thing, and then they hit me with the question: "Well, how long has it been? Like ten years?" They want to know if I actually have immunity against Hepatitis B or if I’m going to need another round of shots...
And you have to deal with the fact that there are three doses required... a lot of people just get one shot and then completely forget about it.
Only after those three doses are finished can you even go in to get your antibody titers checked.
Hepatitis B vaccination info/discussion in Health ·
And honestly? Just go ahead and get those antibody titers tested. In maybe one out of every ten cases, the vaccine doesn't even hold up anyway.
