People are fighting tooth and nail to protect a fake version of history, and this movie was exactly what they needed to lash out at. If you actually read the comments, nobody’s even critiquing the filmmaking itself... mostly because they haven't even watched it. The movie doesn't even matter. It's all about their lies and their desperate attempts to rewrite history, which obviously isn't gonna fly when there's 13.5 million people watching instead of just 13,500 on IMDb.🙂

As far as I know, this isn't some universal forum rule, just stuff specific to certain subforums. Not that I don't occasionally mash 4 or 5 tiny posts together just to keep things readable... I don't recall ever handing out a warning for that.

There’s a massive number of kids sitting in foster care right now that nobody seems to give a damn about. These kids could be adopted by either straight or gay couples and finally get a real home. On the other hand, I don't personally agree with same-sex couples adopting children in this current climate or in this part of the country, because those kids would likely deal with absolute hell starting from preschool. In America, we probably won't see things change for at least another 50 years because people here have such deep-seated, fossilized views on these issues. How healthy it actually is for a child to live in a same-sex household? I'm not sure. But I do know it isn't healthy for a kid to grow up in a community that is so drastically different from the majority in our eyes. It makes them a constant target for ridicule, if not actual physical violence. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. 🤷

When it comes to MK, they’re just trolling. Honestly, you shouldn't take any of them seriously. I've dropped by a few times myself, got insulted, and just died laughing—that was the end of it. bluerider41, you probably should have seen that coming, so... yeah. You're calling me unprofessional? unprofessionalism would actually be if I let you get away with stuff I wouldn't let COD get away with, for example—which isn't happening here. He's actually taken more cards than any of you losers, and after all the "complaining" about moderation, he was already on a two-day forced timeout because of the US thread. The guy sticks to the American side of the story, posts in the US thread, and amazingly, hasn't received a single card... how is that even possible while I'm running this place?! 🤷

I've been a moderator on the politics section here for a long time (with a few breaks), and let me tell you—this is one of the most poorly constructed opening posts I've ever seen if your goal was to spark an uprising against the PŽK. Maybe you should've left this "job" to one of those ten (or is it fifty?) disgruntled users who could actually pull it off better. If you think throwing these (I'm saying it again) sweeping, unproven, and undocumented allegations will somehow get you special treatment over everyone else... well, I hate to break it to you, but you're gonna be disappointed..... sorry, but it's not happening. There's no VIP status for you, no VIP status for the Muslim trolls, and no VIP status for those 50 phantom users. The sooner you accept that, the better it'll be for you, the moderators, and the whole site.

Wasn't even the most popular forum. It was just constant mini-wars instead of actual discussions, which ended up bleeding into other boards. Besides, stuff about the US and its neighbors gets talked about on the main board anyway.

That subforum was only there as a temporary thing to take the pressure off the main board, which finally started breathing properly after that. All the chaos from those "region" threads eventually hit the World news board too, so now everything is scaled back to just enough to cover basic daily political questions for each former USSR country... which is plenty...

Quick correction on that quote if you don't mind me chiming in:
