What is the current inbox limit? I thought it was capped at 200, but after receiving a message from a regular user yesterday, my total hit 202. Was the 201st message the notification card, and now the 202nd is from that user? 🤔
You weren't actually in love with those people. When you truly fall in love, you feel an intense need to spend your entire life by that person's side. Perhaps you just haven't met someone who knocks you off your feet in every way—physically, personality-wise, and sexually. Maybe one day you will!
Reading your words, I suspect the medication isn't working. You claim there is no progress after two years of treatment. Something feels off. If the therapy were effective, wouldn't you feel more like yourself? 🤔
People don't really think about others that often, especially after all these years. Everyone is ultimately their own priority. Is that just how you see things? A small town in the US where everyone knows your business?
You have far too much idle time on your hands. Why not occupy yourself with more meaningful pursuits? Focus on your career, socializing, or going out...
That is perfectly normal. Very few people actually know what they want to do for the rest of their lives when they are eighteen or nineteen. Regardless, having a degree is beneficial. It provides an immediate status within society and serves as an entry point into more professional career paths; from there, it simply depends on you and luck.
Your place might be a bit basic, but you have independence and a steady paycheck. That counts for a lot with women. If you move to Germany, the social scene will likely feel just as isolated, if not worse, since people there aren't particularly outgoing—especially if you haven't mastered the local language. The only real upside is the higher salary.
Do you have any hobbies outside of work and home? Perhaps joining a local sports league or focusing on dating could help?
You are being lazy. Are you not afraid that you won't actually finish everything, but rather that you will simply remain idle and miss out on life? I recently read a book suggesting that one should focus exclusively on the most profitable tasks and only address anything else if time permits.
What is the point of studying three languages and taking those dance classes? Do you truly believe you will become a simultaneous interpreter for all three and make millions? And what about that Fax job you have held for ten years? Why bother when you will just move on to professional training for $667, followed by some tedious administrative role paying $4,000 or $5,000 a year? The Fax job is merely an entry point into white-collar work; the real money lies in SSS and the IT sector.
Rather than wasting time on pursuits that yield nothing, why not focus on video editing or something similar? Wouldn't that bring in a decent income and make your life much better?
I understand how parents feel. They want you to go out and socialize, thinking you're just wasting your life staring at a computer screen all day. Friends might also be jealous; people often struggle with envy when someone close to them suddenly finds success and starts earning well while they haven't. Envy is a natural human emotion and nothing to fear. Just avoid talking too much about your work or boasting about it.
Just stick to the path you've laid out. It won't be a straight line—life tends to throw curves when it feels like it—but you will reach your destination eventually. 🧐
Psychic topics have always been one of my favorite subreddits. It helped me realize I wasn't actually losing my mind, and I feel much better knowing there are plenty of people out there dealing with even weirder stuff than I am (😬). Is anyone else relieved by that? I also enjoy offering advice to others, since I've navigated some of the same struggles they are facing right now.
It doesn't affect me unless it touches someone I know or happens right in my own backyard. Tragedy and bad news have always existed, and they will only increase as the global population grows.
The way these overstuffed threads work is completely nonsensical. I just want to find the specific thread I commented on, only to realize ten more pages have piled up since my last post. How am I supposed to track if someone actually replied to me or quoted my comment? There isn't even a shortcut to jump directly back to my own message. Am I really expected to scroll through twenty entire pages? It is incredibly frustrating. If you aren't arguing in real-time and decide to check back in a few hours or days, how are you ever meant to find your own contribution again?
