No one else in my family deals with psoriasis, so I’m pretty much 100% certain that, at least for me, it’s purely psychosomatic. It flares up whenever my immune system takes a hit—like during PMS, for instance, even if things had settled down a few weeks prior. Getting enough sea air and salt water is such a huge factor too. Unfortunately, living in the Midwest, the summer air gets way too thick and humid for my skin to get the sunlight it needs, and I seriously miss being near the coast 😢 Since I started making some lifestyle changes, my symptoms have actually calmed down by about 60 percent! I'm still trying to figure out a routine that works perfectly, but for now, it's just using Elocom cream and getting some sun (I even have a little tanning bed at home for emergencies). In the ten years since I was diagnosed, I haven't noticed any real connection between sweets or specific foods and my skin. Of course, everyone should eat healthy because it helps the body handle stress better ☕
Drink plenty of water and take an aspirin before bed ☕ When you wake up, if your head is still pounding, grab some Alka-Seltzer and keep up with the water, then maybe a little vitamin-infused juice later. Once you're hungry, just treat yourself to a really solid, delicious meal and you'll be totally fine. 😬
All of this—well, except for the aspirin—actually helped me bounce back after a big company blowout! We started drinking and dancing at 8 PM, and by about 12:30 AM, I could already feel the hangover creeping in while I was still at the party 😂 so I grabbed some bacon and cheese and spent the rest of the night sipping on thick fruit juices... I stayed out until 4 in the morning, and the next day, I actually showed up to work feeling like a total rockstar 😬

He fires again and nails the zombie right in the head, blowing its brain out. Then blood sprays all over his face, and a chunk of skull ends up smeared on his pants. Totally over the top...

The pharmacy over in downtown Chicago... specifically at 9/1st Floor, they order the cream from Germany and you can pick it up in two days. A 30g tube of Psorcutan costs $59
I'm actually out in Phoenix, but thanks anyway! At least now I know the price and I bet I can just order it the same way... 😬
I don't really watch horror movies, so I haven't had experiences quite like yours 😱, but man, I’ve definitely been spooked before (and not in a good way!). For me, the absolute worst part was that creepy, grayish little gnome creature popping up from behind the sofa in one of those early episodes of Twin Peaks, right while Lara Flynn Boyle was sitting there in the same room. Neither of them even notices him, but you just get this constant, heavy feeling that something twisted and terrifying is happening... until he finally spots him! Oh my god... 😱 🙂
