Finally found a decent DivX screener for this one, so I'm gonna upload it for everyone to grab and then I'll definitely sit down and watch it tomorrow.

cosmiclynx57 said:So, I finally sat down and rewatched it yesterday in 720p HD, and man, I have to say, my whole perspective on it has totally shifted.

It’s honestly night and day compared to the last time I saw it; that blurry, low-res crap I watched before just completely sucked the soul out of the movie, but once you see it in decent quality like this S4 version, everything just clicks and feels awesome.

My take on the actual value/quality of the film: 5/10
My rating for it as an animated flick: 9/10

I gave it another spin a couple days ago and my mind hasn't changed—S4 is totally solid. 👍
Olivia Alvarez said:It’s definitely not some glitch or factory error, don't even sweat it. It's super rare for those bonus features to actually be translated, at least on most of the movies sitting in my collection...

Exactly.

Those extra features just aren't subtitled.
For instance, I've got the original versions of Ben-Hur and The Green Mile, and they're packed with all this cool behind-the-scenes footage showing how the movies were made, but there isn't any translation or subtitles for them.

Frank Chase6 said:I absolutely hated this cartoon when I was a kid—and hey, now that I'm an adult, I can officially hate it with even more authority. How precious 😁

Man, I used to despise those kids who hated on Scooby-Doo back in the day, but now I just straight up hate the people who can't stand this movie. 😁

All jokes aside, has anyone actually sat through this thing?

I can't even find it on any of the usual torrent sites, the reviews are totally trashed, and even on IMDb it’s sitting at a pathetic 3.7/10—which basically means it's a total train wreck and you should probably run the other way if you value your time. 😂

But hey, despite all that bad press, I feel like I have to watch it, otherwise Scooby is gonna be haunting my dreams forever. 🤣
bluebison8 said:I honestly think that older movie about Nikola Tesla was more than just good—it actually felt pretty objective. My big fear is that this new one is just going to be your typical Hollywood crap, you know? All flashy special effects but absolutely zero substance or actual story. I mean, who knows what kind of over-the-top CGI they're gonna throw at us this time.

At the end of the day, all I really care about is that we’re finally getting a movie about Nikola Tesla that reaches a massive global audience, because let's be real, he totally deserves that recognition. 🙏
I am seriously over the moon about this! 👍 Hearing about a movie being made about Nikola Tesla is honestly the best news ever! 👍

There’s really no need to go on and on about Nikola Tesla, right? He’s just that legendary. 🙏

I went ahead and pulled together some of the older updates along with the freshest news just so you guys could see how much work is actually going into this production—like, apparently some massive A-list actors have already jumped on board, and even some huge names in Hollywood are looking to join the cast! 👍
Megan Fox and Jessica Alba have both confirmed they'll be starring in this Nikola Tesla biopic, which honestly makes me so hyped. 😁
Nikola Tesla (2012)

Current movie title: Untitled Nikola Tesla Project ( 2012 ) scenario :
Scenario: Vladimir Rajcic
Cast: Serbedzija and Lolita Davidovich

IMDb

Rajcic is filming a movie about Nikola Tesla!

Vladimir Rajcic, the actor and writer behind the film "Mexican Scar," is already making moves to produce a massive biopic about Nikola Tesla, and get this—the list of Hollywood heavyweights they're currently talking to includes names like Nicolas Cage, Martin Sheen, Megan Fox, and Jessica Alba...

(Rajcic and Madsen in "Mexican Scar")

"We are gearing up for a global spectacle, a film centered on the legendary American scientist Nikola Tesla, produced by VPR Studios Production. We’re aiming for that perfect sweet spot between gritty historical accuracy and cutting-edge CGI. A project of this magnitude about a titan like Tesla hasn't been done quite like this before, and it’s really our chance to showcase America’s heritage to the entire world, because at the end of the day, he was an American who fundamentally shifted the course of human civilization. To capture that vibe, we've titled the working project 'Tesla ruler of the World,'" says Vladimir Rajcic.

All the wheels are turning, and soon enough, some major big-shot producers are expected to touch down in the States. Leading the charge for VPR Studios Production are Vladimir and Predrag Rajcic, along with Dragan Savic, who will be scouting out the perfect locations alongside the director and production head. Just as a quick refresher, the film "Mexican Scar" was an American-international co-production filmed right here in the US, featuring Hollywood pros like Michael Madsen and Mark Decassakos on set.

If this Tesla biopic follows the same blueprint as his previous work, we might just see superstars like Nicolas Cage landing roles in the States—specifically for the part of Thomas Edison, the famous American physicist and inventor.

Both Jessica and Megan are in the mix!

"I can't spill all the tea just yet, but the pieces are definitely falling into place. If everything goes according to plan, we're looking at Jessica Alba and Megan Fox arriving in the US as early as October. I won't name the director or who's playing Tesla just yet, but I'm telling you, this is going to be a massive global event," Vladimir emphasized.

His brother Predrag, who's producing the film, mentioned that this project is going to do wonders for the national image on the world stage.

"The film will strike a balance between historical reality and state-of-the-art digital tech. This is a project of national importance because a film about a giant like Tesla allows us to present America in the best possible light. He was the American who changed the trajectory of world civilization," stated Predrag Rajcic.

They're still hunting for actors to fill out the rest of the cast, which includes some of the most fascinating figures from Tesla's era, such as industrialist J.P. Morgan, George Westinghouse, and the actress Sarah Bernhardt.

Honestly, I’ve got a little bit of resentment and zero sympathy here, because let's be real—this kind of stuff is made for the kids, not for us grown-ups who actually have taste. 😉😁

If you ask me, he's really just doing it for the paycheck, milking the money out of children and their parents who are going to be rushing to the theaters first, and then they'll all go out and buy the movie in bulk once it hits DVD. 👍😁
Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World (2011)

Release date: August 19, 2011 (USA)

Can you believe it? Hollywood Reporter just dropped the news that Jessica Alba is jumping into the mix for the new family flick "Spy Kids 4"!

If you look back at the first three movies, we had Antonio Banderas and Carlos Guydino playing the spy parents while Alex Vega and Daryl Sabara handled the kid roles, right?

Well, Robert Rodriguez is back in the director's chair for this fourth installment, and he’s doing it all in 3D! In this one, Jessica Alba plays a retired spy mom who suddenly finds herself pulled back into the field for a brand new mission. They haven't even picked the actor to play her husband yet—can you imagine the casting possibilities?

Rednja:
The film revolves around twins Rebecca and Cecil who cannot get along with their stepmother Marissa Cortez Wilson who married their father, Wilbur, a spy-hunting reporter. However unbeknownst to them, Marissa is a retired spy for the Organization of super Spies which has since become the world's top spy agency and former headquarters of the now-defunct Spy Kids Division. When the world is threatened by The Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven), a maniac who attempts to take over the planet, she is called back into action by the head of the OSS. With the end of the world approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are forced to join the action and join hands with Marissa to put their differences aside to save the world. The two receive some help from former Spy Kids, Carmen and Juni Cortez, who have since grown to teenagers and will provide them with new gadgets. Interestingly, Marissa's maiden name is Cortez which is the same family name of Carmen and Juni Cortez, the former protagonists of the series, though it is unknown if she has any connection to them.

Sean Nguyen4 said:Mad Max trilogy and Braveheart are probably my top two favorites of his. As an actor, he’s alright, and the same goes for his directing. As for the man himself... I guess we won't go there.

Honestly, I don't give a damn what kind of person an actor is in real life, and I don't even spend time thinking about it because, newsflash, I'm not exactly planning on grabbing a beer with them, right? So why should I care if they're a saint or a total jerk?

All that matters to me is whether I actually enjoy their work, how they handle their craft, and if they can put together some solid movies—the rest of their personal business doesn't mean anything to me whatsoever. 😁

If we're talking best of the best, Braveheart along with Mad Max 1 and 2 are definitely my top three picks of his.

crimsonmoose3 said:I consider Mel Gibson to be one of the top actors out there. 👍 👍 I’ve always been a huge fan—everything from Mad Max 1,2,3 to Lethal Weapon 1,2,3,4, plus Payback, Braveheart, Ransom, that one alien flick (it’s on the tip of my tongue, but I can't quite place it), and plenty of others. He was at the top of his game until he started making those odd projects like Passion; most people really missed the mark on that one, though he certainly made a fortune off those devout Catholics... 😎

I've gotta say, I feel exactly the same way about him—I have so much respect for the guy. If you ask me, his absolute peak was definitely in Braveheart, and honestly, that performance is easily one of the greatest pieces of acting I've ever seen on screen. Don't you think?

Man, I am absolutely obsessed with the Mad Max trilogy and that whole Lethal Weapon series—they’re just such classics! And don't even get me started on Signs or Braveheart; honestly, those are all top-tier movies in my book. Can you even imagine a better lineup? Just pure gold.

Listen, you absolutely have to jump on this chance! I’m calling out all the Mel Gibson fans out there to head over to our tournament over on Reddit. It’s going to be an epic showdown between Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone where we’re basically pitting their greatest hits against each other to see which movies truly reign supreme. Seriously, why wouldn't you want to be part of this? You can find the link to the tournament right down in my signature!
velvetdrifter86 said:Exorcist 3, that hospital hallway scene with the sister.

Man, I totally agree, that scene is pure nightmare fuel. 👍

The whole original movie is absolutely terrifying to me, but if I had to pick the most bone-chilling moments, it’s gotta be that intense sequence on the stairs and the one with the drawers.

So, this movie has been floating around the torrent sites for a few days now 👍 ...and hey, if you feel like grabbing it, go for it, but I'm personally passing. 😁

Just kidding, obviously I'll end up downloading it once a decent DivX or H.264 version actually pops up, because there is absolutely no way I'm sitting through some grainy, bottom-of-the-barrel cam version just to see if it's even remotely fun on a first watch—which, let's be honest, I'm already skeptical about, so yeah, that's why I'm holding out until then.

feralorca82 said:Pretty decent effort, I have to admit. Definitely an upgrade from the last one. The first half drags a bit too much with about thirty minutes of filler that doesn't matter, but the second half makes up for it.

I mean, obviously it’s gonna be good! How could it not be? 😉

Honestly, even the first half of the movie actually held its own for me! It really wasn't bad at all, you know?
Honestly, I didn't feel like there was a single second of this movie that felt wasted or dragged out, you know? It’s like, isn't that just how a good story should work? You almost expect the second half to really kick things into high gear and deliver even more than the first part did, and honestly, if it doesn't follow that unwritten rule, then what's the point? To me, it hit all the right marks!
I honestly really dig how they handled the pacing in the first half of the movie, you know? Like, instead of just jumping straight into the madness, they actually take the time to show us what was going on and set the scene properly. It’s such a cool move that they didn't just rush into the big race right away; they let the tension build up through all that gritty fighting and chaos first. Isn't it way more satisfying when a film builds that kind of atmosphere before things finally kick off? I'm totally here for it.

Maria James94 said:I really dig how it ties back to the original movie, especially with the plot and the characters.

So, here’s the deal with this movie: it’s actually a prequel, which means the whole plot takes place before everything went down in the first film, so that one starring Statham basically acts as the direct sequel to this one! Isn't that a wild way to structure a story?

Susan Castillo3 said:Too bad they didn't get that woman who was in the first one with Statham 😁

Oh, come on, don't even start with that nonsense! Seriously, she’s way hotter and looks at least ten years younger than you in this movie.

Look, I’ll be the first to admit it—if that girl you're talking about was the one I had in mind, she was a total nightmare, and honestly? I absolutely hated her guts. I mean, seriously, what was even her deal? She was just such a massive pain in my ass... 😁 Don't go getting the wrong idea here, okay? I honestly think she killed it! I mean, if you actually find yourself hating a character that much, doesn't that just prove how incredible the acting was? Like, if an actor can make you feel that level of genuine animosity toward them, they’ve basically done their job perfectly, right? It's all about that raw talent! 👍
Frankenstein (2011) in Movies ·
Man, I just finished watching this yesterday and I am totally blown away! 👍

The story is seriously awesome and the action is top-tier, though if I had to nitpick, the acting felt a little thin at times—but honestly, the pacing and all the chaos more than make up for it.

The plot itself is super well-constructed too, you know? It’s got a solid setup, a great middle, and a satisfying payoff at the end.
Now, I don't want my fellow action junkies getting the wrong idea and thinking this is some cinematic masterpiece like *The Godfather* or something, because it isn't, but since this is one of those movies heading straight to DVD, it’s actually really good. If you live for high-octane stunts, you definitely need to check this out. 👍

Hannah Green2 said:The first installment was absolute garbage, and I can only imagine how this one turns out. Deadly prison races... give me a break!

😂

Seriously, Hannah Green2, maybe you should just hang up the action movie hat altogether, man, because this clearly isn't your vibe. 😉

When you sit down for an action flick, you're looking for thrills and excitement to keep you glued to the screen, right? Who cares about "realism" when you've got explosions happening? That's just how it works.

I mean, look at comedies—half the stuff they do isn't even remotely realistic, so what, should we all just stop watching funny movies now? 🤷 The whole point of action cinema is to lean into the over-the-top, larger-than-life stuff. If you're craving pure reality, why not just stick to documentaries? They're based on actual events, so they're as real as it gets. 👍

I mean, seriously, between 2000 and 2010, the Hollywood film industry pumped out so many absolute masterpieces that you’d have to be totally blind not to notice, and honestly, I’m not even going to sit here and list them all out for you.

The whole point is 👎 ....as well as the author's own take on the situation (just check out the opening post). 🙄
