Chaos erupting on the religion forum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Robert Hernandez3 said:I’ve noticed this spammer complaining about being trolled, acting like the atheists here are somehow "protected" by the mods just because they write so aggressively.

Don't tell me you're actually still playing his hype man. 😂

Still, this is the religion subforum, so according to him... Nobody should be messing with people's religious feelings on this forum just to push an atheist agenda. He was whining about the handles—Anthony Perez9, Eli Eli Lama, and a bunch of others. Mostly just a bunch of atheists, really.

Who are you even talking about?
It all started when I praised the court's decision to throw Hovind behind bars for tax evasion. Then everything just went south.
I honestly hope this thread gets locked forever, given how pathetic the setup is.

It’s wild to me that Christians haven't pushed back harder on this. The OP is trying to "prove" that Christians—and by that, they mean fundamentalist fanatics, since they openly called themselves one—can best preserve their biblical values not here in the West, but in the most extreme Islamic states, where people are persecuted, women are forced into seclusion, and LGBTQ+ individuals face execution.

What other "wisdom" could possibly be squeezed out of a thread like this?
What kind of "humanitarian insight" are we even supposed to draw from this?

And that’s exactly why being a democratic forum means hate speech isn't allowed.
Suggestion regarding New York Post in Feedback & Suggestions ·
William Bennett53 said:As far as I'm concerned, The New York Times is trash, and most of what they publish feels like a tragicomedy.

Most of it is just pure nonsense—a bunch of absurdities from the "clerical right."
It would be funny if it wasn't backed by such heavy-duty hate speech. Their propaganda actually spreads because the sheer stupidity of what they write is almost entertaining; in the absence of actual American satire, people flock to it.

If you dig even a little, it’s not hard to find blatant antisemitism clumsily masquerading as news.

Just look at this text:

Modern Jews aren't descendants of Abraham; they come from Khazaria, which stretched across what is now Ukraine. Basically, nearly all European Jews and Jews in the US descend from Ukraine, which used to be Khazaria.
The Khazars were historically called the "devilish tribe" and are identified in the Book of Revelation 2:9 as the wicked "
synagogue of Satan" (I know your afflictions and your poverty—but you are rich!—and the insults of those who call themselves Jews, but are not, but are Satan's synagogue
). Additionally, they are identified in Ezekiel 38 and 39 as the apocalyptic nation of Gog from the land of Magog. The prophecy clearly states that this bloody and warlike tribe will conquer Israel, and subsequently subjugate the entire world, inciting war and chaos. This is happening right now , right before our eyes.

Or just type "Jewish" into the search bar and see how they're written about on these pages:

Then we have articles from an antisemite "proving the fact that there was no Holocaust" (wrapped up as if he's just presenting his "factual evidence" without any commentary).

http://www.nytimes.com/world/...holocaust.html

French academic Faurisson dedicated much of his life to historical revisionism, primarily regarding the Holocaust. His research led to the publication of numerous professional papers in which he claims there is actually no evidence supporting the mass, planned extermination of Jews.

From the moment his research and findings hit the global stage around 1974—when he sent a letter to Yad Vashem, the official memorial center in Israel dedicated to all Holocaust victims, where he presented a long list of arguments supposedly proving the fact that there was no genocide against the Jewish people during World War II—Faurisson ran into significant trouble;

It honestly baffles me that the authorities aren't stepping in. Behind all that "edgy" nonsense is just pure hate speech, slowly poisoning everyone's minds who reads this stuff.
Fascism and Monotheism: PDF Resources for Religion Discussion in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Of course, fascism and antisemitism pop up on the religion PDF every now and then. But we clean that stuff out regularly. 👍

Hate speech isn't welcome here, not even back in 2015.

Meadow is doing some heavy lifting trying to keep any kind of conversation about religion alive here. In the real world, people just sweep this stuff under the rug because it's such a powder keg. You have to respect the hustle. 🙂
Deletion and pro-Russia moderation in Ukraine is a constant issue in Feedback & Suggestions ·
fadedmason3 said:So this is how people handle discussions regarding the victims of the Holodomor on this thread. The moderation team just sits there letting this kind of hate speech slide—it’s a constant pattern here. All I did was mention that today marks the anniversary.
This level of aggression and blatant insult is a recurring issue, and unfortunately, the administration chooses to tolerate it. But since we are talking about Ukrainians, apparently nobody cares that the victims of this horrific atrocity are being insulted like this.

For those who aren't aware and might think I'm making things up, here is what the Holodomor actually was: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor
According to various studies and available historical evidence, between 3 and 7 million people died within the territory of Ukraine alone. Some experts suggest the total death toll could be as high as 10 million, which places the Holodomor among the greatest crimes of the 20th century.

In fact, even the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States had an article published in the New York Times regarding the Holodomor recently. http://www.nytimes.com/holodomor--article/1237783/

But here, users from Little Rock managed to turn even that into a troll session. If today is the anniversary, then I guess the Soviets starved 10 million people to death in a single day. Kudos to them; even Americans couldn't pull off something like that. Americans only manage to starve 3 million Africans to death per day.

There isn't a shred of respect left. If this were any other genocide, this post would have been nuked and the hate speech sanctioned immediately. But when it comes to Ukrainians, you're allowed to insult them without mercy, treating them like animals on this forum. I truly hope someone at the Ukrainian Embassy sees this and files a formal complaint.

This kind of filth is worse than the delusions of some warlord. It’s pathetic that this stuff even makes it onto an American forum. 🙂

Hopefully, they kick him off the board soon. Along with everyone else like him.
Deletion and pro-Russia moderation in Ukraine is a constant issue in Feedback & Suggestions ·
fadedmason3 said:Thanks.

I suspect this is actually about Powerlock, who told me earlier today that I was being a nuisance.

Reporting posts doesn't seem to achieve anything at all.

Frankly, it feels like I'm one of the last Mohicans left here who actually has the stomach to write on these topics without being pro-Russia. Everyone else has been effectively driven out by organized raids from pro-Russian trolls, all facilitated by biased moderation. You can see the evidence in the massive drop in engagement on these threads; it's just not fun anymore when you're only allowed to stroke the egos of people who already agree with you—even though Ukraine continues to dominate the news cycle every single day.

Props to you for sticking it out. 👍

Since the mods aren't doing anything, I'm forced to bring this here.
Basically, as an "answer" to my posts, MrBeast keeps coming after me with this theory that I'm some paid shill getting fat on cash just to write on this board.

The Ukraine discussion: Is this supporting terrorism? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
granitefalcon26 said:It’s more than that—they’re breaking the law. Invoking the destruction of the internationally recognized state of Ukraine basically denies its right to exist.

I’m with you on this one. It’s similar to how denying Israel's existence isn't tolerated (from what I can tell).

There's another issue here. If people supporting Putin's policies on this forum are posting from Mexico or Canada, their views make a bit more sense to me—it's less irritating because they aren't subject to American laws. It hits different when they're actually from here. It just hurts more...

Honestly, I miss the days when you could see which country a user was posting from.
I think seeing that would lower the tension a bit and help everyone understand why someone holds a certain view. 🤷

Kyiv and the Ukrainians really won me over. The city is beautiful, and the people have such a calm nature. Americans are highly respected and loved there.

The constant trolling about male discrimination in America in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Shout out to all the brave women standing up against the constant downplaying of violence against women—something that's been going on for centuries. 👍
Adolf Hitler and his thugs tainted that old greeting, probably for good.

The people claiming they just want to restore its dignity are clearly being fake when they condemn that whole Nazi puppet regime. It makes you wonder if they’re actually trying to rehab the criminals instead of the slogan itself.

American is such a rich language; we can easily come up with something new and just leave that old phrase in the history books where it belongs, much like the swastika.

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother starting a debate about this. ☕
Why was the "be all I can be" thread locked?! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
James Patel20 said:And what about "Praise Jesus"?

Are we supposed to group them in with the Nationalists, or the Crusaders, or the Inquisition and all that?

The context behind that shout is everything.

Exactly, and the context clearly wasn't about committing acts of violence, but rather just a soccer match involving the US national team and cheering for the homeside...

Nah. That ball-kicker knows exactly what he said. He’s intentionally staying vague because he's hiding his sympathy for Nazi Germany puppets behind some fluff about "patriotism." It's pretty obvious to everyone. We aren't that naive...

It's like if someone yelled "Sieg Heil" and then tried to claim they were just expressing love for Victory—ignoring the actual association that matters most, while refusing to deny it because they don't want to get caught in a blatant lie.

All that "it didn't always mean that" nonsense can go straight into the trash. All he had to do was flat-out deny supporting Nazi Germany and condemn those atrocities in the interview. He's choosing not to. Why do you think that is?
Why was the "be all I can be" thread locked?! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Carl Rivera43 said:Because, look, the Nazi Germany crowd used that phrase.

And just like that, they ruined a perfectly good traditional greeting.

The Nazi Germany types didn't invent the greeting; they just hijacked it from deep American history.

They basically tainted the whole legacy of the phrase.

Context is everything here. The soccer player didn't actually distance himself from the people who trashed that salute with their crimes in his interview. In fact, he practically sided with them, judging by how much he insulted everyone and how suspiciously vague he was being. But yeah, it's pretty obvious what happened...
Why was the "be all I can be" thread locked?! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
That ball-chaser made it crystal clear in his interview that he’s got zero intention of distancing himself from Nazi Germany and its criminal puppet . He just leaned on the usual "I only want what's best" excuses. He knows exactly what he said, he's just choosing to dodge what he actually thinks.

I really hope he gets sanctioned for more than just some minor event. He basically took a handout from the people who orchestrated this whole thing and handed him the mic. ☕
Religion PDF: Testing the argument on same-sex communities in Feedback & Suggestions ·
The only reason people keep whining about how same-sex relationships are basically incest is because they’re desperately trying to manufacture some kind of fake disgust toward it. It’s just that tired "it's all the same" logic, along with those other even grosser "comparisons" people try to pull... ☕
Christian Torres3 said:I'll look into it, but I have my doubts. Based on public data, it looks like they might just be chipping in for part of the costs.

2010: The Department of Defense pays a million dollars for 155 pilgrims

According to this procurement plan, way more money goes toward the needs of the Chaplain Corps than toward training soldiers. Just for buying communion wine, they're spending $22533. At an average price of about $17 per liter, that means they're buying roughly 1,350 liters of communion wine.

And they're spending more on promotional materials for the pilgrimage to Lourdes than on teaching our soldiers how to handle sophisticated technology. For a promotional banner for Lourdes 2012, they'll drop $4267, and then there's $10667 for scarves for this pilgrimage and the one to Springfield.

So, I highly doubt those payment slips cover everything for Lourdes.

That’s about as much wine as Jesus Christ turned into top-shelf stuff at a wedding where the guests were already wasted.

Man, those were the days. Nowadays, bishops just "launder" our hard-earned cash to fund their own little parties. 🙂

Call it a cultural tax, for sure.

Sure, I’m all for a local accordion club in Lower Poljina, just as long as it isn't being funded by some overpriced clergy.

Sam Diaz2 said:Look, why don't you just reach out to the President while he's heading over to Vatican City and have him lobby the Government to do something about that contract? Since our guy doesn't really have that kind of authority, anyway.

Then there's Linić, claiming we'll be sending more money to the EU next year than we're getting back. Honestly, we might as well just pull out of the EU for a year, at least while we're feeling the pinch.

Serious countries actually stick to what they sign. But since we aren't exactly a "serious" nation and we've already tossed aside our signed agreements (like that whole judicial chapter stuff with the EU), I don't see any reason why we shouldn't just screw... well, the Vatican deal too, and join the club of African and South American nations.

Argentina nationalized some oil companies, so I don't see why we couldn't just screw... ExxonMobil and ini, too. 🤷

There’s no such thing as a peace deal with Vatican City on this one. It's all just posturing... they're basically just waiting to pull the trigger while keeping their hands clean.
Social Sciences: "Racism has arguments for... in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Glad this thread is finally getting shut down. It was pretty obvious the OP was just trying to push some racist agenda, even if they tried to play the victim.

Thankfully Lastan (and the rest of you) called them out on it. I really hope we don't see more of this stuff here, and that anyone trying to peddle that kind of garbage gets shut down just as fast.
